Melissa Deally:

Welcome back to another edition of health hack. And the quote that I would like to share with you today is a very simple one, it is simply that your health is your greatest asset. And I want you to think about that for a minute, you probably think of your house as being your greatest asset. Or maybe it's your car if you don't own a house. And I want you to think about how you treat your car and your house. When the engine light comes on in the car, you start looking at, oh, what's wrong? What do I need to fix and taking it into the shop to get it repaired? Because of course, having use of your car is important to you to get from A to B. And even if you get a bill that you don't have the money for you find the money to pay to have the car repaired, and your house, you're always looking after your house, you're detoxing it that's vacuuming and taking out the garbage. You're fixing broken things you're renovating as needed. What do you do for your own body? The one body that you have that you get to live in for this lifetime? Do you take care of it the way you take care of your car, or your house? Your symptoms of sickness are like your engine light. If you notice a symptom, don't ignore it thinking, Ah, it's just aging. It's my seasonal allergies. It's my genetics, and simply ignore it and push through as society has taught us to do. Instead get curious like you do with the engine light in your car and go, what's going on? What is my body trying to tell me? What do I need to do in order to resolve this symptom, not covered up with a bandaid, or a pill that you might need to take every single day. Your symptoms are like the engine light of your car. You can also help your body function at a more optimal level by detoxing. We live in a toxic world. And those toxins bog down our liver and our kidneys ability to do their job at their best. So helping to detox your body several times a year allows you to function at your very best, the way you change the oil in your car. So my question to you is do you think of your health as your greatest asset? Or do you ignore it? Take it for granted. Because here's the thing, you could always buy a new car. You could always buy a new house, but you don't have the opportunity to buy a new body. And that is why I consider that my health is my greatest asset. Do you comment below? How does this way of thinking resonate with you? Let me know
