Howard Brown:

Hello, it's Howard Brown. It's the Shining Brightly

Howard Brown:

Show. Oh my god you are in for such a treat. We have the most

Howard Brown:

amazing women. I call them the RNR sisters, but Regina Rossi

Howard Brown:

and Raquel Stewart, how are you this evening?

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Doing Well, Howard, how are you?

Howard Brown:

I am great because I'm with you two say, Regina,

Howard Brown:

how you doing?

Regina Rossi:

Dr. Regina who I got upgraded to Dr. Regina.

Regina Rossi:

Thank you. Absolutely. I am a doctor of happiness. So I am in

Regina Rossi:

bliss. Enjoy being on here today. So thank you. We're gonna

Regina Rossi:

have some fun. So here's the deal. You guys run a hot new

Regina Rossi:

show called The Rise and thrive together. And I got to be a

Regina Rossi:

guest on the show and it rocked. It was so good. So I'm having

Regina Rossi:

you back to the Shining Brightly because you are all about energy

Regina Rossi:

and inspiration. But I'm going to play a little game here

Regina Rossi:

because normally I read people's bios and tell them about them.

Regina Rossi:

That's no fun. We're gonna play she said she said, so I'm gonna

Regina Rossi:

have you to introduce each other since you are sisters from

Regina Rossi:

different misters. So who wants to go first? Regina?

Regina Rossi:

Awesome. Hey, everybody. I am so excited to introduce my sister

Regina Rossi:

from another mister sister from another mister and could be

Regina Rossi:

sister from another sister. Dr. Raquel Stewart. Yes, she is an

Regina Rossi:

incredible p HD. That's the doctor in house here. And Human

Regina Rossi:

Services. And a board certified life coach and who she truly is,

Regina Rossi:

is one of the most incredible, I would say inspirational, like

Regina Rossi:

speakers. You know, for me, she has put over 20 years in

Regina Rossi:

education. She was the dean of a college many well she is the

Regina Rossi:

dean of a college that she's just her last days tomorrow.

Regina Rossi:

She's been an adjunct professor. She has been a professor

Regina Rossi:

everywhere from New Jersey all the way to China. But what I

Regina Rossi:

love about her the most is there's not a thing that she

Regina Rossi:

can't say that's out and not inspire you and get you out of

Regina Rossi:

your own way. So if you want real talk with real results,

Regina Rossi:

that's Dr. Raquel Stewart, and she is one of the most

Regina Rossi:

incredible people she's more than just a partner in business

Regina Rossi:

with me. She is one of my dearest friends and truly is a

Regina Rossi:

sister from another mister.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

That's beautiful. Wow. Great

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

introduction. Yeah, this person you should meet her but ou

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

voluntold her to go first. So now you know what now you got to

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

give your rebuttal here. Wow, Regina. The rebuttal is really

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

easy. I'd like to introduce my business partner and my sister

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

friend Regina Rossi LaMoth I have known Regina for Yeah, a

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

lot of years we've known each other and we've worked together

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

she was in one department I was in another we didn't really

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

discover each other and talk to each other until we were both

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

leaving. We were both leaving the job at the same time and

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

that was our connection. And from there even though time

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

passed and we may not have talked to each other in most

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Regina is still the same Regina when I get on the phone it's not

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

a hey, and that uncomfortable silence this i Hey, and Regina

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

is running a marathon and I'm filled in on her life and like

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

20 minutes Regina is awesome, amazing shining brightly star.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

She is authentic. She is genuine. She is transparent. And

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

when I tell you there's not a false bone in her body. I'm

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

telling the truth even when she's having limiting beliefs

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

like we all do. She is not ashamed or embarrassed to say

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

hey, so I had this conversation myself and I felt the way but

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

you know what I had to pull myself out of that. Regina is

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

that person so as much as you hear us talking limiting beliefs

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

impact us and Regina is not afraid to share and she is just

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

so open. She's compassionate. She's a Zumba instructor. Zoom

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Bini instructor. I just talked about her today with someone at

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

my rowing lesson. I saw a friend who was a Zumba Zumba beanie

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

life coach and she was like, Oh my gosh, that sounds so

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

incredible. And I was like that's her. She's like how does

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

she do it? So she just does what she does. So that's my sister

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Regina. I enjoy being a business partner and just keep growing

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

our friendship.

Howard Brown:

Wow, that was fun. I you should take it that's that

Howard Brown:

that is special because I wanted you to share about each other.

Howard Brown:

But now the next level is we're going to share something that

Howard Brown:

you the other person does not know about each other? I

Howard Brown:

December call your doctor a cow goes first. You

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Wow. Yeah. Regina knows just about

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

everything about anything Oh, she doesn't know what does she

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

know? So I like to know everyone's gonna know when i How

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

would you're going to be sorry. When I pass gas I like to make

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

sure I put my leg up so that it comes out and it doesn't get

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

contained in there you go now everybody knows that's something

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

she doesn't know about me. I like to let her free. Yes.

Howard Brown:

Maybe I won't be using this bit again. No,

Howard Brown:

already Regina let's oh that was right. Oh that was deep that,

Howard Brown:

like, physically deep.

Regina Rossi:

I absolutely love that. Um, I'm, there's a

Regina Rossi:

probably a bunch of things. But uh, one frown. One that I love

Regina Rossi:

to share is that I got to meet Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. in

Regina Rossi:

person at Jones Beach. And on top of it, when they asked, hey,

Regina Rossi:

who would like to have their breasts signed by Steven Tyler.

Regina Rossi:

I was married at the time. And for my first marriage, I raised

Regina Rossi:

my hands. This was by the way to help adults with developmental

Regina Rossi:

disabilities. There were a bunch of adults with developmental

Regina Rossi:

disabilities. So I did my part. I did my part for humanity. And

Regina Rossi:

I lifted up my shirt and took off my bra and Steven Tyler

Regina Rossi:

signed my left breast.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

There you go.

Howard Brown:

I got to cool down here for a second ladies. We're

Howard Brown:

passing gas and we're signing boobs. Wow,

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

we have a party. We know how to do a party

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

hours.

Howard Brown:

Oh my god. Well, this show is not PG. We can go

Howard Brown:

we were all adults here. It's all good. Oh my goodness. Wow.

Howard Brown:

Now if that's not a way to start a show. So all right now, how

Howard Brown:

did you all meet?

Regina Rossi:

At work? Yes. At work.

Howard Brown:

And you left that same day? That was it?

Regina Rossi:

No, I would have you know, Raquel is correct. So,

Regina Rossi:

Raquel and I worked worked in two different departments. I was

Regina Rossi:

in part of the internship department, where we had

Regina Rossi:

volunteers and interns throughout the whole entire

Regina Rossi:

agency. We placed about 300 of them a year. And Raquel was a

Regina Rossi:

specific supervisor for adults with developmental disabilities.

Regina Rossi:

And I had some seniors in her department who volunteered. So

Regina Rossi:

it was my job to go once a month, checking on how the

Regina Rossi:

volunteers were doing, and a lot of the paperwork stuff and

Regina Rossi:

checking on the education and training that they were doing

Regina Rossi:

there for our volunteers, and see how we could support one

Regina Rossi:

another. And she was one of those people where I loved

Regina Rossi:

because I never had to spend time with her. I would send an

Regina Rossi:

email, I would drop off paperwork, she would have

Regina Rossi:

everything done, like meticulously. So there was never

Regina Rossi:

really a moment where you know, she would answer everything.

Regina Rossi:

Like especially in emails, trainings up to date, none of

Regina Rossi:

the supervisor, none of my volunteers ever complained, they

Regina Rossi:

absolutely love being her department they wanted to be so

Regina Rossi:

I never really had to go. And that finally was to a point

Regina Rossi:

where I was like, oh, this person, like I'm working in this

Regina Rossi:

department for 12 years. And I don't know her. And one of the

Regina Rossi:

things I pride myself on is like Raquel said, I like to know,

Regina Rossi:

everybody and everything. So they called me the mayor of an

Regina Rossi:

agency that had nine floors. And I didn't know her and that

Regina Rossi:

bothered me. So I went in one day, and I asked her like, Hey,

Regina Rossi:

can we meet? I really don't know, you, thank you for being

Regina Rossi:

like the most incredible person that like handles all of my

Regina Rossi:

life. So easy in my department, but I want to get to know you.

Regina Rossi:

And there was a lot of inner turmoil going on in our agency.

Regina Rossi:

And so we just like, you know, she was like, Yeah, and I was

Regina Rossi:

like, let's do lunch, and we had lunch together. And that was it

Regina Rossi:

wasn't like a catch up. It was like, literally, like we've met

Regina Rossi:

each other our whole entire lives. And just went in and

Regina Rossi:

started talking to find out that we both were interested in

Regina Rossi:

leaving the agency and looking to create something more than

Regina Rossi:

the life that we had. And that's how the conversation started.

Regina Rossi:

And then we met and met weekly, we secretly met like, weekly now

Regina Rossi:

all of a sudden, I got to see her weekly, you know, to check

Regina Rossi:

in on stuff when I didn't in 12 years. And and we met weekly and

Regina Rossi:

together we made our exit plan and empowered each other to lead

Regina Rossi:

together powerfully. That's a cool story. And you just, you

Regina Rossi:

just had this vibration or the sync or just you

Howard Brown:

You know, you met and you, you you had an

Howard Brown:

appreciation for each other. It's beautiful friendship that

Howard Brown:

thank you for sharing that, because that's that how it's

Howard Brown:

developed. And then it has evolved even further. And tell

Howard Brown:

us about how did rise and thrive together? How did that idea come

Howard Brown:

about?

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Well, pretty much Regina and I were talking

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

about working together and collaborating partnership. And

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

we were talking, and we were talking, and we were talking

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

some more and then it got to be like, Okay, what are we going to

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

do? We've talked and talk is good, but talk without action is

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

just might as well be gossip, right? There's no action behind

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

it. And so we got together weekly, and I mean, weekly for

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

like, we would block out three hours this venture of ours

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

started out as, hey, let's do an online course. Okay, great. We

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

would break it down into modules, sessions, all of this

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

stuff. And then one day, I told her, I was like, you know, I

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

want to do something live though. We're gonna record these

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

videos for online classes. But I'm a person I want live. And

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

she was like, okay, and then Regina being who she is, and

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

loving to just meet people collaborate and be in community.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

She joined the community, and met some amazing people. And

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

then she was like, Hey, sis, okay, you want to do like, I've

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

got something for us. And she brought it to me, we talked

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

about it. We were like, let's just do it. Like, we didn't talk

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

too long. We talked, we discussed and we're like, okay,

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

let's do it. We're not sure how we're going to do some of the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

things. But you know what, it doesn't matter. Between the two

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

of us, we got this covered. And then it was a matter of coming

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

up with the name. And just listening to Regina talk. I was

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

like, Oh, God, the name, you just said it. And she's like,

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

well, that sounds like rising dry. And then she's like, rise

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

and thrive together. Because it's about community. I was

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

like, awesome. Let's run with it. So I wish it was some deep

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

story. This was rooted for years and years and years in the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

making. And it just took us really and truly getting into

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

action and being in a place separately, where we were both

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

ready to grow. And then we came together as that community and

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

built what is now rise and thrive together.

Howard Brown:

Yep. It's beautiful. And the world needs

Howard Brown:

both of you, because I love it that you help people get out of

Howard Brown:

their own way. Well, we're coming out of, you know, the

Howard Brown:

pandemic and people. i The number one fact came out was

Howard Brown:

that loneliness leading to depression out of that, I mean,

Howard Brown:

we're people that kind of run in packs, and kind of we were

Howard Brown:

forced into, you know, this whole zoom world and things like

Howard Brown:

that, and not being able to being restricted and things like

Howard Brown:

that. So what are you seeing out there? The world is a noisy

Howard Brown:

place, it can be a nasty place. It can be hard. Okay, and what

Howard Brown:

do you what do you see out there? Who are the people that

Howard Brown:

you're helping and that are coming to you?

Regina Rossi:

I would say currently, for me, I've got two

Regina Rossi:

particular groups, because like Raquel shared, Zoom beanie is a

Regina Rossi:

programme for caregivers and their young children. So I've

Regina Rossi:

spent the past seven years of my life and being a mom newly

Regina Rossi:

right. So it wasn't until I was 48, that my husband and I were

Regina Rossi:

like, Hey, we're going to adopt so I became a mom at a much

Regina Rossi:

later age. So here I am, as you know, former social worker life

Regina Rossi:

coach, you know, out there doing what I love teaching, you know,

Regina Rossi:

classes of music and movement to young children and moms and to

Regina Rossi:

seniors and people with disabilities. It was really the

Regina Rossi:

mom group, because that was the ones where a create that safe

Regina Rossi:

space for them, their caregivers to come. And although you're in

Regina Rossi:

a class, and there are things happening, they come early, they

Regina Rossi:

stay leader, and I just provided that safe place for them to be

Regina Rossi:

and I would hear all of what it's you know, how difficult it

Regina Rossi:

is to truly manage life are single moms, some are moms in

Regina Rossi:

relationships, some are secretly wanting to get divorced, many

Regina Rossi:

with young children, more children, and I'm this new mom,

Regina Rossi:

myself, navigating this whole entire kind of like, mom, who,

Regina Rossi:

although I felt for myself, being older was quite helpful.

Regina Rossi:

And being a social worker working with kids for so long.

Regina Rossi:

But it was just interesting, because I finally was like,

Regina Rossi:

Yeah, I feel that way. Yeah, I feel that way. Yeah, I feel that

Regina Rossi:

way. Spend most of that time realising that people need a

Regina Rossi:

safe place. When you talk about mean, like, this is my personal

Regina Rossi:

opinion. And I know it's like, you know, let's not get all mad

Regina Rossi:

at me. But the bottom line is, you know, I grew up in Auburn

Regina Rossi:

others, and my father, and I'm a very male energy person, I

Regina Rossi:

watched men in our family or like, how my father described

Regina Rossi:

like you Savage, who needed to say you got into a fight. And

Regina Rossi:

the next minute, everything was good. My father's like, you

Regina Rossi:

know, hey, I grew up grew up in the hood, like down in Brooklyn

Regina Rossi:

and was like, boom, you beat each other up. And then next

Regina Rossi:

week, you're on your turf, everybody was good again, women,

Regina Rossi:

we hold grudges.

Regina Rossi:

We lie, we smile to your face. And we all say yes. And I, I

Regina Rossi:

just couldn't believe seeing that. And that's what I saw, I

Regina Rossi:

saw these women who all thought they were in communities of

Regina Rossi:

other women who are struggling with the same struggles, you

Regina Rossi:

know, the same feelings, and then felt safe. And then all of

Regina Rossi:

a sudden, were attacked in the safe mom groups, which I got all

Regina Rossi:

into. And that's when I realised I didn't have that same

Regina Rossi:

experience. And I sure wanted to disrupt that experience. And so

Regina Rossi:

that's when I really started focusing on the moms and the

Regina Rossi:

children. I've worked with a lot of people, but that truly is my

Regina Rossi:

passion and my purpose. And I don't care what type of mom we

Regina Rossi:

work, because we all take care of someone in some way, shape or

Regina Rossi:

form, including your Furbabies. Because that is super important,

Regina Rossi:

whatever that emotional support that you're providing. So that's

Regina Rossi:

been my 14, it's now grown to my seniors, because I now have kind

Regina Rossi:

of changed my soon back to seniors. So now I'm seeing the

Regina Rossi:

second half of life. And by the way, that's the same thing. I

Regina Rossi:

laugh, I tell her a cow for years. And I tell her all my

Regina Rossi:

interns what you thought happened when you were a child,

Regina Rossi:

and you thought were like you know, behind your back then

Regina Rossi:

doesn't get any better when you get as an adult. And you then

Regina Rossi:

get to as an adult, be able to shift that perception that by

Regina Rossi:

empowering yourself and getting to get to know yourself and

Regina Rossi:

realising you don't need that in your life. So I want people to

Regina Rossi:

live their lives unapologetically. By putting

Regina Rossi:

themselves first and knowing their worth. And they're worth

Regina Rossi:

they're deserving everything that they want.

Howard Brown:

Wrong. Wow. Raquel, you've been an educator.

Howard Brown:

So how I mean? How are you applying this to your practice?

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Wow. So as an educator, Michael, my mission is

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

to engage students in learning how to disrupt their thinking.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

And during COVID, it was really difficult for a lot of students

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

because they didn't have what was needed to still attend

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

classes, work, take care of their kids, being home all the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

time with the kids and having to do schoolwork was really, really

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

difficult. So what we found was a lot of kids decided I have to

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

stop saying kids, a lot of students decided they would stop

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

going to school. And so we were in remote status for a long

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

time. Now I was in the US when COVID hit happened to be in the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

US. So I was still working in China. And that was a remote for

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

me, teaching classes, managing my faculty, managing the staff.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

And then I was teaching over here as well. And it got to be a

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

lot. And what I saw the common thread was people just needed a

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

break. And they didn't know how to find it. Because they

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

couldn't go outside. And they weren't thinking I can still

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

have a break inside. A lot of people got frustrated and

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

annoyed because I can't go anywhere. And I'm tired of the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

house. And so here's the disruptive thinking part. And it

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

became what is it that you've always wanted to do inside the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

house that you never had the time because you had to run to

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

class you had to run to work and you had to come home deal with

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

the kids do homework, cook clean? All these other things,

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

blah, blah, blah, you could go to 50,000 things, but what is it

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

you really wanted to get done at home, and you never had the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

time. And then they come up with a list of things. Now mind you,

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

I'm teaching class. My background is Psychology. I'm

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

teaching class, but my class is not really like an ordinary

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

class. When you step in, I'll let you know that right out the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

gate, you have a chance to drop it. So this is the conversation

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

that we're having. What is it that you've always wanted to do

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

and some of them said to simple things? I was wanting to clean

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

my closet out there clothes in there that I've had for so long

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

and can't fit me. Okay, well guess what now is your chance.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

But the kids bring the kids in say we don't have to separate

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

out our activities. We can bring the kids into some of our

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

activities and sorting out your closet. Definitely one of them.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Anybody out there have a junk drawer anywhere kitchen, but we

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

all have that junk drawer and we all say oh my gosh, every time

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

we open it, I need to clean this. We closed it again. I open

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

it I need to clean this Guess what COVID gave you the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

opportunity to take care of those little activities that you

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

always wanted to due and never had the time, people took COVID

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

for granted, I get a lot of people died. I've lost people, a

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

lot of people during COVID. But I also saw the other side of

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

COVID. And here's a disruptive thinker in me is that COVID gave

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

me an opportunity to stop, pause, think and put me first,

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

what is it that I want to do? It gave me the opportunity to build

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

a business COVID gave me the opportunity to know that I have

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

a creative bone in my body, I started making jewellery, I

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

thought I was just a talker. But there was actually a creative

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

side. And so in sharing that ball with my students disrupted

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

their thinking, and they saw a different perspective, they saw

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

COVID a different way. It's not holding you hostage, it's giving

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

you time. And all it took was just that shift in thinking and

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

mindset. And that is what I'm about. I want to disrupt your

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

thinking. And that's how I saw COVID I get it, I get the pain.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

But can we make a slight quarter turn of a shift to the left? or

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

to the right, change your thinking? What is it that I can

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

do during this time? I will miss that. We saw it. Yeah, I mean,

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

we're through it now. And but some of the kids are behind.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Granted, I get it, they're gonna either play catch up or get left

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

behind, which is sad. I love that idea of cleaning the

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

closet, and then you could even donate it to another cause or

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

decide together and make it a group project at home.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Absolutely. Well, I for me, I did what you said, I dictated a

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

book. So I'm with you on it. 100%, I was very productive. I

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

got a book published in manuscript done in three years.

Howard Brown:

And still healing and a tiny healing had to go on

Howard Brown:

as far as you know, me getting better and things like that. So

Howard Brown:

I agree with you. So people, they they need to be able to

Howard Brown:

understand that they can potentially break things down

Howard Brown:

into smaller bites is what I'm hearing from you as well. You

Howard Brown:

can't take on the whole storm, but you could just take a piece

Howard Brown:

of it. And as I say, and I do a keynote called Get back up

Howard Brown:

again. Because we all get knocked down in life. I don't

Howard Brown:

know anybody that's walking through clean, free and just

Howard Brown:

cruising through life. If they are they're lying, or they're

Howard Brown:

drinking, or they're jostling the system somehow. Right?

Regina Rossi:

Right.

Howard Brown:

We all we all do that. And it really begins with

Howard Brown:

ourselves. Okay. And I think you even asked me on your show, I

Howard Brown:

mean, I created some space of darkness, where I actually knew

Howard Brown:

that I was in bad shape. I was frustrated, I had denial, I had

Howard Brown:

anger. But I the discipline that I learned that I share with

Howard Brown:

people is that I didn't stay there too long. You stay there

Howard Brown:

too long, you ankle up getting it's a vacuum, it sucks you back

Howard Brown:

and keeps you there too long ass. And that's not what I do.

Howard Brown:

And we each talked about when we look in the mirror. And I

Howard Brown:

actually want you to repeat that I know I did on your show. But I

Howard Brown:

looked in the mirror today because I knew we were going to

Howard Brown:

be meeting and I said, this is going to be one great day. I

Howard Brown:

can't wait to get to this evening. So I can see you guys

Howard Brown:

and your smiling faces and feel your energy. But I always do I

Howard Brown:

feel blessed. I feel grateful. And I feel lucky. And to make

Howard Brown:

something of the day. And I did today and it doesn't happen

Howard Brown:

every day, but almost every day. And how do you answer that you

Howard Brown:

looked in the mirror? And would you say today?

Regina Rossi:

Oh, this morning, I looked in the mirror, the

Regina Rossi:

first thing I did was I thanked God, right? It's a big piece of

Regina Rossi:

my life. So I would say thank you, God, Thank you universe,

Regina Rossi:

for providing me this extra moment in time to be able to be

Regina Rossi:

of service to be the best version of myself that you have

Regina Rossi:

created me for. And I am out to go out there and do your work,

Regina Rossi:

just guide me through that. I listen or you and I just allow

Regina Rossi:

the rest to happen. I'm always in that flow of it's pretty much

Regina Rossi:

my ritual kind of change. But I just think, you know, thank the

Regina Rossi:

higher self of me, you know, and for me, it's God, you know, to

Regina Rossi:

say, you got me here, I'm here for another day, I'm so excited

Regina Rossi:

to be this best version of myself. Just guide me to who I

Regina Rossi:

need to speak to who I need to listen to who I need to not

Regina Rossi:

speak to, you know, you know what I need to see what I need

Regina Rossi:

to hear. And the rest of the day really flow as it's like, out of

Regina Rossi:

my control. Like that's the part of like Raquel was talking about

Regina Rossi:

is, you know, we're very, that's why we're so aligned with minds,

Regina Rossi:

you know, mind shift, and it's just always noticing when I'm

Regina Rossi:

controlling. And what is that? how that's impacted me and when

Regina Rossi:

to just go hey, oh, I got that. That's, you know, that's me my

Regina Rossi:

control space. Let me let that go. And here you go, Father,

Regina Rossi:

you've got it. And the next thing you know, and today was

Regina Rossi:

like an extraordinary, extraordinary day. We had some

Regina Rossi:

great rise and thrive excited It means today for our company.

Howard Brown:

You did. Raquel, what did you see in the mirror

Howard Brown:

this morning?

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

I was like, Girl, stop playing small. You're

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

like, let's go get it. Let's tell people what they need to.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

They don't know they need to hear it. But we don't tell them.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

We give people what they want, while also providing what they

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

need. And so I was like, girl, don't play small. But that's

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

what I said, I have these kinds of conversations with me. And

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

when I talk to God, I'm like, Alright, God, I need to be

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

productive, because I don't know what I've been doing. But I need

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

to get back on track. You know, for me today was don't play

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

small. I love and say what you have to say. But I want to make

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

a comment about your your statement. However, when you

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

said you weren't that dark place and not to stay there. And what

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

I call that is don't take up permanent residence in a place

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

that you don't belong. You need to say, Return to Sender on that

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

mail that comes to that house, return to send a put that right

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

back in the mail, let it go right back where it belongs,

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

because it doesn't belong with you.

Howard Brown:

Oh my god, this is amazing. I agree. So I call it a

Howard Brown:

discipline to it. It is a discipline. It is a learned

Howard Brown:

ability to weed out that negativity Returned to sender,

Howard Brown:

whatever you call it. I love it. It's absolutely so true. So this

Howard Brown:

is this is incredible. All right. Well, this shows one big

Howard Brown:

tease, you know, because people need to reach out to all of us

Howard Brown:

because as we are doing for each other, okay, is that we are we

Howard Brown:

are making introductions. Good things are happening. There's

Howard Brown:

some great news happening with rising thrive. I will keep that

Howard Brown:

secret a little longer tease everybody more. But we're going

Howard Brown:

to do something here we're going to put on our sunglasses. All

Howard Brown:

right.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

All right,

Howard Brown:

let's put on some sunglasses here. Why? Because we

Howard Brown:

are shining so brightly together. Okay. And I want you

Howard Brown:

to tell people how they get a hold of you, because they need

Howard Brown:

to contact you. And I want to give each of you the last word

Howard Brown:

and then you'll kick it over to me to wrap up the show. And you

Howard Brown:

don't have to keep your sunglasses on the whole time

Howard Brown:

unless you want to.

Dr. Raquel Stuart:

Like oh, hey, everybody, the way that you can

Regina Rossi:

limiting belief, you are not alone because you are on
