What Not to Do When Anxiety Strikes: A Guide to Avoiding Common Pitfalls | ES189

When it comes to anxiety, you often hear about ways to feel better. But it's just as important to understand what not to do—like knowing what foods are bad for your health. This can be especially tricky with anxiety because some of the things we do to cope might make the emotion actually worse without us realizing it.

Although anxiety may appear like a liability, ultimately, it is our responsibility to learn to understand what triggers this emotion, to address the underlying wounds and needs, and to replace the limiting beliefs that keep our self-protective patterns alive.

Remember, it's okay to feel anxious and need help. The most important thing is to be kind to yourself and take steps to grow from and beyond your anxiety.
