Ep. 8: Fabio Aromatici, fashion executive, entrepreneur, author, actor and more, shares a glimpse of his path to success

Fabio Aromatici is a Creative's Creative. In his many roles ranging from fashion executive, to entrepreneur, author, playwright, actor, storyteller, and more, Fabio consistently proves that you can do more than you think you can if you are obsessed with the value you create. With three plays currently in production in Italy and having founded a variety of organizations such as Secret Vienna, Secret Manila, and Story Nights Manila, the tales of Fabio (and his alter-ego Fabio Jones) will soon be legends in their own right. About the Guest:

A Jurisprudence graduate, in 1988 in ANIE, Italian National Association of electronics industry and later assistant SG of the European Association of Medical Electronics. Took part in the legislative process for EU and national legislation. In 1994 Area Manager for the Chambers of commerce of Lombardy developing the organization’s initiatives for international trade, transportation, environment and tourism. In 1995 joined in New Haven CT, USA Barbieri & Associates becoming business development associate. Acted as liaison with Italian companies and business development manager.

Back in Italy by the end of 1997 as export manager of GIBAMGROUP, Fano, Italy, in the field of furniture for stores. Extensively worked in South America, Russia and eastern European countries expanding the market and establishing joint ventures in Chile and Poland as Executive VP. in 1999 with Assolombarda - industry association of Milan - manager of the SME’s group active in lobbying, communication and promotional activities. Since November 2001 Director of the Business Development Unit providing services to the 6,000 member companies in international trade, marketing, R&D.  Since June 2008 GM of ASSOCALZATURIFICI- Italian National Footwear Manufacturers' Association.

Since January 2011 CEO of the MICAM, largest footwear exhibition in the world. Since June 2011 Knight of the Italian Republic. Since February 2012 Vice Chairman of the International Relations Committee of Business Europe. Since September 2013 Secretary General of FIAMP - Federation of Italian Fashion Accessories. On July 1st, 2014 becomes Head of International Development of Fiera Milano coordinating the International Network in 7 countries. He moves to Austria in 2016, where he creates and develops Secret Vienna, a start-up active in tourism.

Since August 2017 in Manila, Philippines, where he creates Secret Manila and Manila Story Nights, a storytelling ring. He wrote three theatre plays in the last year all of them are being produced in Italy. He is also author of two books. (See links below).
