After nearly 35 years in the chimney industry, Mark Stoner knows there are no easy wins. We’ve got to power through, get dirty, and make something!

Following the significant growth of his company, Mark released his first book in 2016 titled, “Blue Collar Gold…How to Build a Service Business from the Dirt Up.” In January 2017 he was featured on Season 2 of CNBC’s ‘Blue Collar Millionaires,’ and his company, Ashbusters Chimney Service, is featured in 9 episodes of the popular HGTV series ‘Property Brothers.’

 

About Our Guest:

Mark Stoner has been in the chimney industry for thirty-four years. He ran a one-truck company for eighteen years until 2003 when he changed his path and built a multi-million- dollar chimney company only a few years later. Ashbusters Chimney Service currently employs over 60 people servicing Tennessee and South Carolina.

In 2016 Mark released his first book, “Blue Collar Gold...how to build a service business from the dirt up” which became an Amazon best seller in 2017. In a January of 2017 Mark was featured on season two of CNBCs "Blue Collar Millionaires" hosted by Tim McGraw and his company Ashbusters Chimney Service is featured in 9 episodes of “Property Brothers” on HGTV in the Nashville area.

Mark is a past president the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) 2013-16 Mark also enjoys being a keynote speaker for various regional and national organizations and events in service-related industries. In 2015 Mark developed, Blue Collar University, an intensive two-day course held in Nashville, designed to help other business owners with their service companies. In 2012 he started Top Hat Metal works that specializes in custom chimney caps and metal fabrication.
