As you tune into each episode, you will receive insight into your own grief, how to eliminate it and what to do next. Before we start by one request, if any new insights or awareness land with you during this episode, please send me an email at info at the Ian Hawkins coaching.com. And let me know what you found. I know the power of this word, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it. If you're tuning into this one, thinking that I'm going to give you a step by step guide on being able to get away from challenging people or remove them from your life. Or then that's not quite what I had mine for today. But keep tuning in. Because I want to give you some thoughts on a better way to be able to address that. Because trying to run away from challenging people in your life's like trying to turn back the tide. It's just not possible. Because what's really going on is that they're challenging, because there's something within you that's been triggered, there's something within you that's been impacted, that needs to be addressed. And you can remove these people from your life. But this same challenge will show up with other people. Life will keep presenting to you, whatever is being set off there. It's causing them to be challenging, we'll find another way to reach you. They'll send other models and your other people like that. Because life constantly gives us feedback. What we like what we love, and what needs addressing. It's just that part of being human. So if you're facing people in your life that you're finding quite challenging. It's always looking at, okay, who, what is going on for me? Why is this challenging me? What's my belief system around this situation? Or where do I need to have better boundaries in place around people like this, maybe you need to be standing up for yourself stronger. Maybe you need to be softer in your approach to these different situations. But one thing's for sure is that you can't outrun whatever is being set off in you by these challenging people. And you got to face them, like we've all got family, no one tree is a slight family, that closest people to us, right? We've grown up together, or we've connected at later in life. And we care so much about them. That of course, all those emotional situations going to be hard. So it always comes back to self. It's like the the parents that I work with, with their teenage children, or work with them together. Because if we're just doing work on the child, they will go back into that same environment, the same challenges you have at present. So it's about doing the work where we each have an appreciation about what's going on. So we can change the other. So I always say to the to the parents in those situations is that, yes, we're working on building up resilience and strength in your child, you also need to address the different elements that they're showing up for you guys in this situation as well. Because it always comes back to self. And sure, like I said, there are boundaries that need to be put in place. And there are times where we shouldn't tolerate certain things. We need to stand up for ourselves. We need to change how we operate so that other people can't cross our boundaries. But ultimately, it's still our response. That's our responsibility. So it comes back to self. So first step is always awareness. It's always acknowledging that there's something going on there, having that awareness. And then when you've got awareness, then you can start making the changes. So if that's where you're at at the moment, then I'd love for you to come and join me on my start training next week. This is where we start addressing whereabouts there might be things getting in the road of what it is you actually want in life, getting clear on what the change you want to make is and then finding strategy Is that work for you specifically? So that you can find a different approach, you can find a different response. And you can start finding different results. Because you've heard that saying the definition of insanity is to continue to do the same thing and expect different results. So nothing changes unless you change. So if you're ready to make those changes, that's exactly what my start now training is all about. Starting to make those changes so that you can get on and make a much more effortless, forward movement to the life you really want. I'll leave the details in the notes there. You can come and join us and we'd love to see you there. I hope you enjoyed this episode of The Grief Code podcast. Thank you so much for listening.
