Tammy Gross:

All right, so today I have a really special guest. Her name is Patricia O'Brien, and she is the art Angel. After trying every other healing method, Patricia O'Brien was a depressed entrepreneur when she rediscovered the transformational power of art to regain her mental health. Now, she explores all forms of creativity, visual and performance, art, gardening, design, music, all sorts of things, as a way to connect to the Divine or the source or God, for transformational healing of mental and physical health. Her signature talk is Get ready for something new, how I've used art, for transformational healing. I love that. Thank you so much for being here. Patricia. Thank you so much for having me. Well, you know, your story, I think a lot of people can relate to certain parts of it. You know, I just before we came on, you know, I, I said, Yep, depression, that's something that I definitely have, have dealt with, I think a lot of us have, whether we did in our past or not, you know, COVID came up, and a lot of us had that. But what I'd love to do, is as much as you're comfortable is going back to when, you know when and how you got to that point where you we're at a depression point, you are an entrepreneur, and you are in the business world and and you realize something was wrong. So I would love to kind of start out with your story, wherever you feel like it really kind of started as a problem that you were recognizing that had to be addressed. And I'll kind of let you take it away.

Patricia O'Brien:

Okay, well, I have to go back a little further, I have a need a unique story. And that I was, for the first 25 years of my life, I had constant depression. Basically, it was a clinical depression. And I was delivered, if you will, overnight, at age 25. I woke up on January 1 of 1998. And everything seemed very different. My hands, I was like, why am I calling myself Patti, we're going back to Patricia immediately. And I just had this surge of energy, a renewed interest in God and divinity. However, all my explorations at that time didn't really keep me back in the church, all I knew was that the veil of depression had come off. And so being able to help experience life like that, overnight, I had a lot of compassion for people who suffered with mental health like depression. Because there's nothing you just don't, when you are clinically depressed like that for so long, you just don't know what you can't see, because you can't take that veil off. So I went through the rest of my life and then would only experience some depression, bouts of depression things which made sense, okay, this happened. That's why I feel well. So all that went on for a long time until in my 40s, I began to think, as I was hopping around to all these different jobs, that had nothing to do with health or art, which are my two passions, and I just kept hopping around, never feeling fulfilled. I was like, why am I so unhappy in this life, and in this world, like, I've got to figure this out. And somebody told me, you know, when you are something, if you are the red in the rainbow, you can't see red. And you know, it's like, I love art, and I love health. But I had these notions that this wasn't something that I was destined to do for whatever number of reasons. And I began to discover what I had already kind of known that there was a lot of struggle and turmoil in my genetic line coming from the Irish side, and some on the German side. And those things can that can come through and your genetic path and can get anchored in further because as a thinking being everything beginning with thought and that's creation ability, those thoughts come into your your mind, and then you're creating them and making them bigger and bigger and bigger. So I in my whole life, there was this notion of need to struggle that life is hard, that you know, lessons are learned through hard work and, and toil and and finally, even though I had always sort of had my foot in health and art, I realized, oh my gosh, I've got to get back into to health. I've got to get back into art. And as I began to allow myself to explore that, again, things just began to change very quickly. And I was also at the time studying and even talking on a number of different platforms, but only as a hobby. You know, this aspect of the holographic reality of nature, you know, the holographic nature of reality, that everything that you're seeing outside is a reflection of something inside. And, and so I wrote a book a children's book on health and wellness 10 years ago called magic food for me, even though I don't have children of my own, I knew that people needed to have a clean, clear, pure vessel in order to receive healing incites joy, and that was written with the idea that you get kids programmed to consume more vegetables, and be happy in that way. And when I started embracing that, and doing it more for a living with a nutritional product, and art, I realized that was the key to the breakthrough for me. I don't know if this is a good stopping point in the story, but what I want to say about art is a little bigger of an answer. So I'll I'll I'll let you speak right now. I'm sorry, if that went on too long.

Tammy Gross:

No, not at all. Are you kidding? No, that that is fascinating. And, and? And did you ever feel like you got an explanation? Or is it kind of one of those? Or is it one of those mysteries that you are living with of just like, why overnight? Did it just change? Have you gotten an answer to that?

Patricia O'Brien:

I feel like my soul. So all this starts to dovetail together. But I feel that my soul agreed to experience it in that way. Because I'm on the front edge of what I'm what I'm trying to say in this. This might sound like an amazing, wonderful life. But I wouldn't wish this path on anybody. When you're a trailblazer. I mean, in Trailblazers will tell you that the first person that goes through it often goes through so much turmoil and strife and struggle to rise above the ground. And I do believe though, that my soul agreed to experience it, because once you do, and as a human vessel, you then embody that energy. And that's a morphogenetic field and expanding field of thought once a person or is able to go through and, and overcome something big, they hold the energy of breakthrough for others. I mean, it's no mystery. People who have had a long problem with anything alcoholism or drugs or whatever, they had some type of abuse, when they get on the other side of it there. And they have the heart to help other people. The energy of having been through those things makes it very easy. Even though it's not just the record that you have with the people that you're teaching to do the same breakthrough you had. There's an energy that's present there of this, it's already happened. So for me, what I have known for a long time is I was by divine deliverance. I mean, it was not because I was praying, had many people praying for me, but it wouldn't happen fast, so that I could see the difference from year to year, just like that. And that's the hope that I also speak about with people. I'm like, right on my coattails. I've done it guys many times right now, it can happen that fast, no matter what other people are telling you that it's going to take this long and this many years in therapy. So this is another big piece of my story. My mother tried to talk therapy in in Junior High in high school and it was horrible. I absolutely hated because it was reliving I felt like I had to they would ask me questions. What about this your relationship with that person, your father, and You're reliving it, you're reigniting all those neural pathways. I knew even back then this is not good for me. I don't like this talk therapy. This sucks. And I would get out in every way possible. So here's where I'll mention the bigger piece the more the deeper piece, the revelatory piece of art for me.

Patricia O'Brien:

There are five forms of matter. Ether is the original form of matter, but we don't really talk about it. It was like the Chi the key the lifeforce the God, as you want to call it, it created the other four forms of matter which are the terrestrial Earth air fire water it also it also animate it's those matter that those forms of matter Nikola Tesla talked about this you know that you that matter doesn't have any energy in it except that which it gets from the environment. It is the mystery even of you're gonna go biblical into the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, the same energy that inhabits a bit of wind and makes it blow and then just as mysteriously exits that wind is but use that as an analogy as the same way that the Holy Spirit will come upon a person. Yeah. And that's how you Your birth again the mystery of being rebirth and having birth again. So there's a mystery to the ether, that we don't give full reverence to, because so the other comes back to the ether here. So the ether, so they call those for the terrestrial elements, I call that ether the almost The Extra Terrestrial element, because it is that which creates what we call dark energy or dark matter. We don't fully understand it, but we know that it's there. And volumetrically, the dark energy and dark matter is about 84% of all that exists. So it's predominance, if not more of 84%, you know, got all the things that we can wait and feel. But there's all these pockets of dark energy, dark matter, and even those scientists that don't really care for it, or think much of it or whatever, they don't understand it, they admit that it's there, because when they're trying to do their when they are doing their observations of the physical matter, they see the influence of it, the gravitational influence of it. So everybody knows that it's there, but they can't see it. This has been my task and my, my burden, if you will, my whole life, all of my difficulties, been in the unseen, my depression. My father was very emotionally abusive. He was he was a great, he's a great man. But the emotional abuse was intense. And I would tell people, I wish I could show you how much this hurts. But but they can't, but you can't see. See it. So. So dealing in the unseen, for this tangible 3d world is difficult for most people. So coming back to the ether, we don't give it the reverence that it deserves. If it's creating all it's this 84% of all that is plus, it's animating all of the things that we can see, can we not wish and not wish, believe and tap on to those of us who have been blessed enough to have that kind of a quick turnaround. And the reason that this message is so important right now is that we need people to believe that the mainstream media and whatever other negative things that they're seeing out there, don't have to take two years or two months, or 10 years or whatever other length of time that we send tend to want to put on it to turn around. If we can get more people thought, their creation ability to that which they see as potential amazing outcome. And if you can't see it yet tap onto other visionaries who were sharing some amazing views with you. And that is how we are going to turn this thing around like that. I mean, the big areas, financial areas, and invite food, culture, politics, guys, it can happen like that. I'm living proof. I've got so many stories about it. Yeah.

Tammy Gross:

That is so amazing. And one thing that you were touching on, shortly after you showed that art that can you show that art again, that you that you had for a second there? Yeah, that is so beautiful. And there is a darkness to it. And so I'm wondering is that kind of what's happening is that you're, you're kind of giving a visual to those unseen things. And you're able to express them, or is it more that you're expressing the good parts, and it because that is beautiful, but it's also dark as so that's some kind of trying to make that connection and figuring out if that's part of it.

Patricia O'Brien:

So I call this one of my portal paintings. And it's the meaning here it is, if you talk about a zero point, in healing, we talk about a zero point because I also do. I'm very involved in healing and have been for a couple of decades, because I'm sure, I knew at some level I had to go through to deal with a lot of these genetic lineage stuff. And coincidentally, I'm one of three girls and both of my sisters are in the healing. My older sister is a nurse, my younger sister has her own chiropractic practice. So we're all in a healing space. Yeah, but the zero point in healing is getting to a place where you understand that no matter what is happening to you. It is for your benefit that you have attracted it for some good reason. And the more you say, I can't wait to get over this illness or out of this situation or away from this abusive person or whatever it is, the more you try and resist something it's been said in many ways, the more it will stay with you. But when you can sit in that zero point, which is the center to me when I'm making these, it's right here, right and I'm willing to say you know what, Lord, it's okay if nothing changes. And it's also okay if everything changes quickly. So you get to that zero point of, of, you're just with it, you're like I don't even if you may or may not have seen the blessing of that situation. and that you're classifying as negative yet, but you are in such a place of almost I've heard it called the razor's edge as well, you're walking this, where you can either accept that there's blessing here, whether I can see it or not right now, and I'm going to be completely okay, if nothing changes. And the other side of I'm going to be completely okay, but I'm not addicted to or, or, or attached so strongly to it's got to change and it's got to change fast. But when you can really sit in the middle, zero and be okay, with either way, that's when I have felt that the healing has come through. So let me come back to the ether on this artwork. Here's what was revelatory. So and this has been said, so after I saw and heard this notion, the first time, all of a sudden, all this other information about the ether began to fall into place, fish moves through the medium of water, or smooth through air, the ether, has to have a medium, what medium is it? The most masterful creator god source, however you look at it is a creator at at at the core at the at the inside of the outside is a masterful creator. And so right, the most masterful creator is present in all creative pursuits, just because that's one of his sort of hobbies. He loves the he or she however, you classify that, but it's present in a way that transcends words. So it comes through in a mysterious way. Whether you're dancing, or singing, or painting, or gardening, or designing or whatever you're doing, there's a something that's beyond it's a philosophical thing, which I used to make fun of. But it's something beyond what you can put your finger on. It's not just okay, I read the book. And it means this, I've meditated for 30 minutes for three years. And it means this. No, it's a supernatural. I don't know exactly how it happens. But I'll take that miracle any day. Does that make sense?

Tammy Gross:

Oh, it totally makes sense. I'm so glad that you explain that a little bit. Because yeah, cuz I was kind of like I was putting my own meaning on it. And one of the good things about art is you can put your own meaning on it. But when it's when it's this kind of art, when and it's and it's coming for you and from you, and you're going through it, and you can put yourself in the position as the artists, not just the art interpreter. It's a totally different game. And if you didn't give me the explanation, I would have just like, given it my own thing, you know, I love that. And it's so powerful. I mean, it really does. It's like yes, things can happen, you know, outside of your power, or you know, your influence, but they can also happen because of your influence on the inside. So you have you there's a lot of depth, a lot of layers to all of this, it's hard for me to even sum it up, but I'm understanding it so much better now. And I would never have looked at it that way. And I'm really fascinated by it. Because it sounds like it's something that really everybody can explore and do for themselves. Because it's not about it's not about the presentation of art, it's about it's about the heart of the art being part of the healing process. And I love that. And it's, it's something that I think everybody should probably explore at some point in their life. Because we do live in a scene world, we go with what we what, what's around us, and we react a lot. But what you're talking about brings us to such a higher and I'm using mixed metaphors by saying it but it's really well like, let's say deep space, because I'm thinking higher and deeper. And it's like it's just expansive. Everything that that brings us into the ethers is, is a lot of people will call it Oh, that's too whoo for me, but I'm not the most woo person I really am not, you know, I've been a Christian for a long time. But this all is really making sense for me. And, and so I love that you, you do make it so that it's like, you know, you don't have to call it the divine you don't have to call it God. But there is definitely a higher power that even the most staunch atheist has to realize the world is a heck of a lot bigger than you are and so is the universe. And this really gives a connection point for everyone no matter where they're at, in their thoughts so that their health in their in their mental health can can really make a connection. I love this. I am so glad that we got just a taste of this because I know there's so much more to it and and you're creating something so that we can like their mental health hacks. Tell us a little bit about this. This is something that everybody is going to there's just gonna be information in the notes section for this podcast. What is that that you've got for us?

Patricia O'Brien:

Yes, so the mental health hacks it's, I was calling it the basics for me when you When my higher self my guides divinity was communicating this, to me, it was like this is basic stuff, Patricia, you've got health has got to be paramount, just not to go too far down that path. But we each had a certain amount of energy. This is scientific, I'm not making this up, the energy is neither created nor destroyed, it only changes form. So if energy's coming in, and you've got even low grade, or if it's extreme infection, inflammation, poor digestion, poor circulation, diabetes, you know, whatever, you got high cholesterol, you got all this stuff. Then it's going to go there first, we are incredible, our beingness our vessel and the energy goes to all those places first, and then what do you have left to get in connection with yourself to find out why you came here on this planet at this time? What is your unique special gifting, if you're have all that stuff coming up first, and then you're trying to maintain a life here working at a job to pay the bills, and you got kids and you've got friends, you've got assignments and all these things, you're never going to get there, folks. I'm just Yeah, I challenge anyone to come forward and tell me that they're living their absolute best, most balanced life and, and eating fast food and and themselves, I N, even if they think they are, I would challenge them that if they would get a little cleaner, they could be a more pure, higher and lighter vessel to receive, right? It's fine information. Because there's interference. If you don't, there's interference, sneak edits, and then you'll think I imagine that that's not so that was a lot of my life, when I wasn't eating as I do now. Every day, I'm having fresh, fresh, you know, green organic juice not have on and off throughout the years. But I got really serious with this. I'm like, Okay, this book I always said was downloaded that children's book that was a manual for me, this is what my heart said, Patricia, if you eat like this, you'll be amazed at when I wrote it, I thought who can eat like this every day.

Tammy Gross:

Exactly. And then hear you that is so that is so funny. That's what a lot of us end up doing. We ended up writing the manual for ourselves. Because we have gone through, you know, we've we've gone through quite a bit of your story. And there's so much more to it. But I mean, what a mountain of things for us, you know, go ahead, go ahead. Yeah, the thought

Patricia O'Brien:

mental the mental health hacks. So the standards, oh, yes, gotta get fresh, you've got to get fresh air, you need to put your feet on the ground, not the grounding aspect every day, he was yes, you've got to eat fresh, alive, vibrant food, reduce the toxins in an in every it comes from everywhere, I have a much bigger vision eventually, for how to reduce toxic load from all sources Earth air, you know, food every other way that you consume in your life. And so reducing the mindfully and deliberately, less toxins going in, in the foods don't eat genetically modified foods that have no pesticides in and just say whatever, you know, I'm just going to do it. It's shorting your system out. It really is. And one of my big sayings is how you do one thing is how you do everything. So these mental health hacks you get the basics down that tell you health steps and strategies that are easy and free, that you can do every day. And that gets you to a pure, cleaner mental state where you're going to get the messages that God has for you. Because it your every person is so unique, and every and you're in co creation with God. So you're not just listening to receive to be told what to do. You get these ideas and these inspirations, you're going to have options out the wazoo, I can tell you it was almost overwhelming. Look at all these options, I've got my goodness, and then you vision, and you keep looking at the mental health hacks to keep and when I say mental health, I mean, just just having that energy back to the discussion of energy above you striking out that you can have the energy go where you want it to go. That's the point. Yeah. And why energy I mean, your mental thought as well as your money and every other thing, every aspect of energy should be within your control as much as it is you don't want to drink because you got cancer treatments and dialysis and all these other things. So so that's the big piece of the mental health is getting your energy back so that you can connect to source in whatever way that that you will and feel fulfillment and come back around like I have praise God, you know, without going off the rails coming back to or getting into if you haven't touched upon it yet, because I had these touch points throughout my life but I didn't trust it. I was like, No, you can't make any money in that. I've got to do something else like this. Right?

Tammy Gross:

That's the Mental Health Act. I love that. And that is a very, it's something that we all can, can take and and get something really powerful out of it. It sounds like so I appreciate that, that you're sharing that with everybody who's listening right now. And before we go, I actually want to ask you that one big question is, if money were not an issue at all, how would you live out your legacy, so that you can leave a legacy?

Patricia O'Brien:

Well, I feel like I'm very, very close. And in doing that now, because I'm talking about this type of content, sharing with people the importance of their health, both physical and mental, so that they can get in touch with why they came here. The Earth needs you, you need the the ideas that are here for you. And so I have always wanted to be a children's art teacher. And the reason is, because of all the reasons we've talked about know getting into a divine getting in touch with the etheric field in a way that their parents or their sister or their brother can't necessarily when their minds are still malleable. That's the right. The kids, why did I make a children's book, because children's are little sponges, for all those scientific reasons, we know their minds are much more receptive. And getting in the habit and pattern of doing that and connecting and having a way to connect with that, when they're smaller. Is, is paramount to the future of this planet. And for us that are on the earth right now raising the vibration, having those solutions we've talked about before. So being a children's art teacher, is what I want to do. And I'm headed in that direction. And just loving this journey along the way in, in talking with both children and adults about health, which is something I've been doing for a long time, you know, just as a hobby, right? With with great book. And I guess that's what I want to do is that children's art teacher. And and then actually, the bigger piece that I already mentioned, the live a clean life.com That's going to be a resource, educational resource, reviews, all that kind of thing, so that people can reduce their toxic load, and live their best life have their

Tammy Gross:

energy. Oh, that's excellent. Actually, that is like a really perfect final word. This has been so eye opening to me, I had not looked at things this way. And as a creative, this really resounds with me. And I think with a lot of people who are listening, they're gonna, they're gonna find that that same thing. And for people who are more on, you know, who are using the left brain a little bit more than the right brain, I think it makes sense for them to and that's what I love is this is this is like for everybody to totally grasp. And it's a way that you can, can use what's in the universe, all this matter that's in the universe and be in more control and be your own advocate without it without feeling like you're at the whim of just you know, things unseen. So this is really, really cool. I appreciate this. It's eye opening, and I'm probably gonna have you back on and have you talk about more of this, but I can't wait to see this downloadable so that I can kind of figure out some things about myself. And I appreciate the time. I really do. This has been great.

Patricia O'Brien:

Yes, absolutely. Tammy, this has been my pleasure. I just love talking about this. So thank you so much.
