Jennifer Takagi:

Welcome to destined for success. I'm your

Jennifer Takagi:

host Jennifer Takagi and today I want to talk about dreams and

Jennifer Takagi:

insights. So I think many times dreams can be the insights of

Jennifer Takagi:

your deepest desires. So dreams can be like a daydream, like

Jennifer Takagi:

your mind is kind of drifts off. A dream can actually happen in

Jennifer Takagi:

the middle of the night. Like you wake up in the middle of the

Jennifer Takagi:

night, I woke up in the middle of the night, which I'm a

Jennifer Takagi:

sleeper if you don't know me personally, let me just give you

Jennifer Takagi:

some insights. I'm a sleeper I tell you good night, and I'm

Jennifer Takagi:

asleep. Like there's no, no waiting around. No, continuing

Jennifer Takagi:

the conversation. If I say good night, I'm done. So one night, I

Jennifer Takagi:

kept waking up, like it started like at two or three in the

Jennifer Takagi:

morning. And I just kept waking up. And it'd be like, Oh, I've

Jennifer Takagi:

got to go back to sleep. I have a busy day tomorrow, and I wake

Jennifer Takagi:

up or I just barely Doze and be awake again. And finally, it was

Jennifer Takagi:

like five in the morning. And I thought, okay, okay. So I got up

Jennifer Takagi:

and I got a pad and a pin. And I started writing down every

Jennifer Takagi:

single thought that was going through my mind. Well, I really

Jennifer Takagi:

believe that was one of my spirit guides, letting me know,

Jennifer Takagi:

the next thing I needed to be working on. Because I pretty

Jennifer Takagi:

much took everything I wrote down at five in the morning, and

Jennifer Takagi:

incorporated it into something else. It was content. I don't

Jennifer Takagi:

remember at this moment, what it was, but it I turned it into

Jennifer Takagi:

something. So that dream was waking me up because I needed to

Jennifer Takagi:

put it on paper. So I'd be able to do something with it later.

Jennifer Takagi:

Sometimes we have those dreams, and we have the answer to

Jennifer Takagi:

everything. And then we wake up and it's over. It's over a

Jennifer Takagi:

doubt. And we have no idea what the dream was. So I encourage

Jennifer Takagi:

you, if you have a dream in the middle of the night, part of me

Jennifer Takagi:

that you go ahead and get up and write it down, write down what

Jennifer Takagi:

it was. And then you can deal with it later, you can figure

Jennifer Takagi:

out how it fits in or if it does. One of the first points I

Jennifer Takagi:

really want to make is that our dreams are our own. I've used

Jennifer Takagi:

this story before, but I think it's worth repeating if you

Jennifer Takagi:

haven't heard it before. I remember as a little kid laying

Jennifer Takagi:

in the grass, looking at the clouds with my older sister. And

Jennifer Takagi:

I'd say oh my gosh, look, there's an elephant. And she'd

Jennifer Takagi:

say where and I point and say over there. And she's looking

Jennifer Takagi:

and her perspective is a few feet different than mine. Right?

Jennifer Takagi:

We're laying on the grass, can you see it? We're laying on the

Jennifer Takagi:

grass, and she's a few feet away. And I'm saying look at

Jennifer Takagi:

that elephant. Well, number one, she's three feet away. So her

Jennifer Takagi:

perspective is different. Number two, I'm in Oklahoma and guess

Jennifer Takagi:

what the wind comes sweeping across the plane, the wind is

Jennifer Takagi:

going to the cloud formations are changing. Just in a

Jennifer Takagi:

nanosecond, they're a little different, a little different, a

Jennifer Takagi:

little different. So by the time she even focuses in on the

Jennifer Takagi:

proper area where I'm looking, it's already shifted, it's

Jennifer Takagi:

already morphed. And I tell you this, because sometimes we share

Jennifer Takagi:

our dreams with people. And they don't get it. They don't get it

Jennifer Takagi:

because it's not their dream. It's yours. You're looking at

Jennifer Takagi:

the cloud and seeing the image and they can't see it. So I urge

Jennifer Takagi:

you to reduce your frustration with people not being

Jennifer Takagi:

supportive. I urge you to share your dreams with other

Jennifer Takagi:

visionaries. With visionaries who can say oh, yeah, that

Jennifer Takagi:

sounds great. We just need somebody to listen to us. We

Jennifer Takagi:

don't need them to tell us how to do it.

Jennifer Takagi:

We don't need the problem solved. We just need to be able

Jennifer Takagi:

to share the information.

Jennifer Takagi:

The next key piece is you don't have to know how. Now I'm just

Jennifer Takagi:

going to be honest, because you know, I lie to you all the time.

Jennifer Takagi:

Just kidding. I don't really he don't have to know how it's

Jennifer Takagi:

gonna happen. You just have to know that that's what you want.

Jennifer Takagi:

And opportunities will begin to present themselves Sometimes

Jennifer Takagi:

you're gonna have to Google it, you're gonna have to google how

Jennifer Takagi:

do I bake that cake. And you have to get a recipe and then

Jennifer Takagi:

you have to follow it. Some things are simple that the

Jennifer Takagi:

little how the little, the little internal intermediate

Jennifer Takagi:

steps, the baby steps, you can Google that. I love Google. It's

Jennifer Takagi:

like my best friend, I think we're besties. Now. So some of

Jennifer Takagi:

the how you can find out but sometimes your vision, your

Jennifer Takagi:

dream is so big, that you absolutely cannot figure out how

Jennifer Takagi:

to get there. Well, you don't need to know how to get to the

Jennifer Takagi:

finish line, you just need to know how to start. Ask yourself

Jennifer Takagi:

the question before you go to bed. If I were to accomplish

Jennifer Takagi:

this, or make this happen, what would my first step be? And then

Jennifer Takagi:

go to sleep and your subconscious is so brilliant.

Jennifer Takagi:

That I bet you're gonna wake up in the morning with an idea on a

Jennifer Takagi:

first step, a person to call a person to email a person to

Jennifer Takagi:

text. Maybe you were asking the wrong question. I'm listening to

Jennifer Takagi:

a book right now. And I was shocked to find out that when I

Jennifer Takagi:

go online and do research with my ideal client, who do I want

Jennifer Takagi:

to play with? Who do I want to serve? That I actually need to

Jennifer Takagi:

be asking a different question that I've been asking? I'm not

Jennifer Takagi:

getting clarity. And it's because I haven't been asking

Jennifer Takagi:

the right question. So several options. You can read books, I

Jennifer Takagi:

love audiobooks, because I can do other things. At the same

Jennifer Takagi:

time. You can read a book, listen to a book, you can do

Jennifer Takagi:

research, you can sit down and write five different ways to ask

Jennifer Takagi:

the same question that brings it to a different place. I do Body

Jennifer Takagi:

Code, energy work with people. And I had a client and she kept

Jennifer Takagi:

making the same statement. And I kept trying to rephrase it into

Jennifer Takagi:

a question. And she kept making the same statement where she

Jennifer Takagi:

would ask a question, but it wasn't a workable, usable

Jennifer Takagi:

question. And finally, I said, Okay, you just need to let that

Jennifer Takagi:

go. And let me do this differently. And let me ask it

Jennifer Takagi:

this way. And she goes, Wow, I love when you call me out. And I

Jennifer Takagi:

said, Well, we weren't going to get anywhere. Like at some

Jennifer Takagi:

point, we had to get this call moving, right, we had to be

Jennifer Takagi:

doing what we needed to do. So don't focus so much on the big

Jennifer Takagi:

house. Focus on the little piece, the little piece, what

Jennifer Takagi:

can I do? How can I step forward? one little step at a

Jennifer Takagi:

time. But you do need to be laser focused? What is the one

Jennifer Takagi:

thing that you could either expand in your life or contract

Jennifer Takagi:

in your life that would make the biggest difference? What would

Jennifer Takagi:

make the biggest difference? Again, I do Body Code and

Jennifer Takagi:

Emotion Code work on people. And I have a short little 15 minute

Jennifer Takagi:

session, why don't have time to explain it all and do the work.

Jennifer Takagi:

So I created a video of somebody opts in and buys a 15 minute

Jennifer Takagi:

session, then they get a video and it says, Hey, it'd be really

Jennifer Takagi:

great if you watch this video first. And then we can make the

Jennifer Takagi:

absolute most of our 15 minutes together. And in that video, I

Jennifer Takagi:

ask the client to decide before we start, what is the one thing

Jennifer Takagi:

that they want or need more of, or less of to make the biggest

Jennifer Takagi:

difference in their life and focus on that. I had a client

Jennifer Takagi:

with pretty severe eczema. And I can't remember I'm gonna have to

Jennifer Takagi:

go back through my notes. We either did four or five calls

Jennifer Takagi:

and every call was like, Okay, are you ready to hit eczema? And

Jennifer Takagi:

she was like, No, it's a little better. We don't really need to.

Jennifer Takagi:

And I was like, Nope, we're sticking with it till it's gone.

Jennifer Takagi:

And she'd go, okay, okay. We kept going through it come to

Jennifer Takagi:

find out she had been exposed to a toxin that was used to clean

Jennifer Takagi:

eggs years ago. And they found out people were getting rashes

Jennifer Takagi:

from them, and they quit using that chemical. Well, she'd had

Jennifer Takagi:

eczema like her whole life. It took us multiple sessions to get

Jennifer Takagi:

to the point that we got to the root cause your subconscious

Jennifer Takagi:

wants to keep you safe. It only wants to release what it can

Jennifer Takagi:

release without re harming you. So sometimes you have to go

Jennifer Takagi:

really deep to get to that final answer. But you have to be laser

Jennifer Takagi:

focused. First several calls, she said, I don't want to do

Jennifer Takagi:

them anymore. I want to do something else. And as her coach

Jennifer Takagi:

and mentor and friend, I had to say, No, we're not doing that.

Jennifer Takagi:

We're sticking to this. You have to be laser focused. What is the

Jennifer Takagi:

one thing that would make the biggest difference in your life?

Jennifer Takagi:

Focus on that one thing when you go to bed at night, ask yourself

Jennifer Takagi:

the question out loud in my sleep in my dream subconscious,

Jennifer Takagi:

because you're so brilliant, revealed to me the one thing I

Jennifer Takagi:

can do tomorrow to move me forward in this quest. You have

Jennifer Takagi:

the answers there within you, but we're not quiet and we don't

Jennifer Takagi:

listen. So don't be discouraged when other people don't get your

Jennifer Takagi:

dreams. They're your dreams, not their dreams. You do not have to

Jennifer Takagi:

know the how just yet it will be revealed. And you do need to be

Jennifer Takagi:

laser focused on this is the thing that I want. I'm Jennifer

Jennifer Takagi:

Takagi and I look forward to connecting with you soon
