I know the power of this word, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it.

So I did a post an A episode a few weeks ago, and I was talking about the importance of building momentum building into 2023. And the craziest craziness of that statement that we're already coming up to 2023 quickly is not lost on me either. And what I talked about was yeah, getting clarity in place making a decision on what you want. Now, what I've got back from people is, what else do I need to know, before January 1, so I've got that momentum ready to go. And I can hit the ground running. So I'm gonna do a bit of a series on this. And so I want to talk about finding inspiration. motivation comes externally. And it plays a part of different times, I'm sure you can all think of times where you've been motivated by external circumstances, by people maybe trying to prove someone wrong. Or maybe as simple as getting a watching a video or listening to some music is something that revs you up. Motivation is external and relies on continuing to have more external, and finding more of that motivation. And sometimes that can be a struggle, right? And it wanes, whereas inspiration comes internally. And that's self drive. So before we get to January 1, how do we find more than inspiration? How do we get more of that energy to be able to act without having to wait for the external circumstances to be perfect. And the best way to do that is to know your why. Jim Rohn talks about having a why for living, about having a really clear idea about what it is sort of why it is that you want to be better. Les Brown talks about having five reasons why that are more powerful than your fears. So start having a think about why it is that you want things to be better next year. Now for me, I'm massively inspired by wanting to be better for my family. From the moment I had my first child, I just had this realization that I need to be better, and I want to be better. And I want to be able to provide for both of my children or that I possibly can. While also a big part of my why is that I want to be able to have all the resources available, should anything happen to anyone in my family, children, wife, mom, in law's brother, sister, etc. be motivated, I want to have those resources, that drives me. I want to be able to have the best possible relationship with all of those important people in my family as well. That's a big driver. I want to have more that unity more that harmony in my life. I also want to give back, I want to make a difference. I want to be able to leave a legacy that lives on well beyond my time on this earth. So those reasons why

they power me, they fuel me. Then when I first learned about this going back probably 910 years ago, I had these five things. I can't remember how many actually said then four or five things. And there's probably a couple more that I haven't thought of I had them in the notes section on my phone. And I would set a reminder every day to read them and to embrace them. So on the days when things got tough, and they will because that's life and when you're on the growth journey, that's what happens. You have setbacks, but they're not actually setbacks. They're helping you to see what still needs to be worked on. These things will power you, they'll fuel you, fuel you and help you to move past those times. And continue to find that internal drive that inspiration to go after what it is that you truly want. And make the difference that it is you truly. So, if this is calling you right now, take the time, write it down, put it somewhere where you can read it every single day until it becomes second nature. And you know, your why it's going to drive you forward to having a great year next year. If you haven't already go back and look at that post from a few weeks ago. I was talking about finding clarity. And all that episode if you're on the podcast for that episode, where I talked about finding clarity and getting really clear on what it is you want next year to look like. Take action, because it'll be totally worth it.
