or excess weight is of course dependent on the amount of movement you do, and what you put into your body. That's a given right. But there's more to it than that much more. And you know, because you've been different times where you've done all the right things and done the movement, the exercise, even the right things, and you still can't seem to shift the way. And there are those moments of self sabotage of comfort or border meeting or other unconscious patterns like getting injured or sick, right when you seem to be getting into great habits. Because excess weight is also a result of those unresolved moments. unresolved memories from your past sitting in your body. And you're holding on to it as a safety mechanism. It's not intentional. It's a hardwired pattern of a lifetime. And it's certainly not your fault. So keep reminding yourself of this fact. When I went to Bali in 2013, for a retreat, which I've talked about many times on this pod, the coach I was working with explained this concept to me and they were say, just watch what happens to happens with Andrew not their real name. But Andrea, these next two weeks, he will lose 10 kilos. That's what 20 pounds ish for those in the US just from letting go of the stuff he's been holding on to. And sure enough, like within that first week, I'm at breakfast with Andrew and he says, I can't believe it. I mean eating this food and I'm talking like resort buffet. Those full breakfast bacon, eggs, toast. Noodles, it was barley. So it was like everything was on offer. Oh, my name is fertile, where you have lost four kilos. And was like mind blown, because I'd been told this award happen and there was an they were kind of blown away by it as well. Just Thomas, don't being hard on yourself for where you're at now. And instead focus on the body, you do want, that you want things to be, we get so caught in what we don't want. And being stuck, we forget to ask. I remember writing one of my goals in my dream journal over there that I think is is getting up towards the 80 kilos. And I remember writing initially our 72 kilos was my was my goal weight. And then learning about having impossible goals and, and so on, I'll make it 69 Which, again, is ridiculous. But I kind of got there, because I'd made it a goal. And then I realized that actually that's too lightened. I need to put some muscle bulk because I was fading away. But it's amazing the power of the written goal. It's amazing. To write it down. Write down what you want. Now clearly, it takes more than just writing it down. You've got to take the action. And that's why you got to act on the opportunities when they present because they will. Because when you get that clarity, when you write it down, when you have that truth, your unconscious mind will start searching for answers. It will go to work to find your solutions. So taking action when the solutions appear, is the most crucial step of the process. Because this is where change happens. And that's what happened for me. I wanted to have a body that was free from pain. That was one of the big things I put in my dream journal when I first started writing a direction for my life, a future vision. It's so much pain in my body. And I was carrying more weight than I wanted to I was sick of being overweight and tired and lacking energy. This is where everything changed. Getting that clarity making it truth. Acknowledging there are changes that I need to make, and then being open to the solutions finding me. And when it comes to your body, this is where change happens, and importantly, sustained change. And you've waited long enough, and you deserve it. So make a commitment to yourself today, as in like this very minute, act on the commitment at every opportunity every day, and keep moving forward with that relentless pursuit of what it is you truly want your life.
