I know the power of this word I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it. This is a message for all the highly sensitive souls out there for the carers, the nurturers the sometimes over givers, maybe even people pleasers, the empaths, the intuitive coaches, the healers. The people who just genuinely have a big heart and love to be there for other people love to help you probably volunteer at some point. Whether that's officially or in a more informal capacity with family and friends. I want to share with you something that I've learned from my experience. You take on the energy of what other people are going through, you probably know that already. Right? I want to tell you how large that plays out. Particularly if you're in that highly sensitive category, you may be even hypersensitive, you're pretty in tune with people's emotion, you might notice things that other people don't notice. If you've engaged anyone. And that can be from a conversation to me messaging, anywhere where you have emotionally engaged yourself in the conversation, you will carry that person's stuff with you until you make a conscious decision to let it go. Sometimes, even if you make a conscious decision, you can then carry that energy with you. And it will be to your detriment. Until they get a resolution to whatever it is that either you've known about or that they've mentioned to you that just let that sit with you for a while. Especially if you're the sort of person who's forever attracting people into your world. That just pulls their heart out to random strangers, people you work with. If you are a carer or a coach, or someone who works in the healing space, maybe as many as 10 or more people that come and see you every day. And each one leaves their mark, and you carry that road. Then there can be days where you're just not performing at your highest and you don't know why tighter than usual. Or your brains in a fog. can concentrate get distracted. Maybe you start forgetting things your memory actually decreases. You might look back in something and go wow, I don't even remember doing that. And this can be good quality stuff to have. I've written some articles in the past where I've looked back and gone. Like what reading someone else's work. I've liked it. It's usually pretty good quality, but I just have no recollection of it. Recently, I've been sharing my different lessons through running. And I had a pretty big breakthrough with a client this morning. Significant and in the leader. They haven't been sleeping well. So I haven't been sleeping well. Significant, right. I had a big breakthrough this morning. And I ran today and I've been feeling sluggish when I've been running lately. And it's the fastest I've run it a long time. It's amazing how good I felt. And it just dawned on me while I was running. I was like that stuff still causing an impact. When I'm not going through all of my processes when I'm not sticking to what I know works Some of you may be familiar with the concept of cutting cords, you have this energetic connection with people of like, okay, I'm going to consciously make an intention to break that emotional bond that I have with someone I've been helping on some of them my life contain more than that, there needs to be a loop closed. So if you're running around with all these open loops, all these different people you've connected with, and there's been no resolution. And you're carrying that energy, when you can do all the cord cutting and cord burning and any other different energy protection process. But unless the loop is closed, by you, intentionally, and in a way that they know about as well just keep having an impact. And again, let that sink in for a bit. Think of how many different people you've connected with. How many open ended conversations your life

boundaries are more than just physical. They're more than just mental need to have emotional boundaries as well. You'd have energetic boundaries. I'll give you one example. I regularly get people connecting with me. I don't mind doing that meeting for someone, someone for the first time they've taken the time to message me, then I'll have a quick chat with them for sure. And invariably, that leads to be great. Do this again soon. And I'm like, I'm sure would be. But you could also imagine that I get a heap of people will hate people saying that to me every week. And I liken it to someone having a friend who's a doctor, and saying, because if I just call you every now and then just tell you about my symptoms and ask you what's going on, or, or a plumber friend and dropping around with some broken parts and thrown on the kitchen bench and yarn. Look, can you tell me what I do with this because I like melody to really close the loops, because that's what has to happen. That's what's happening for you out there in the world, is that people are dumping their plumbing, not literally, but they're dumping their work or they're dumping their stuff on you. And you're allowing it to happen and you're not resolving you live in these open loops feels good to help. So don't get me wrong. This is not about stopping helping. It's one of the daring gifts that you share.

Because you do have a big heart and you are awesome at helping people holding space for them and nurturing, caring and helping them to feel better. At the moment, it's having a detrimental impact on you and your health. Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, that whole level energetically. And it's why there are times where you feel tired, where you feel flat, where you feel you can't concentrate where your emotions and your nervous systems all over the place. And you feel disconnected. To start closing the loops being conscious about it. Where are you have you got conversations or situations that are open ended. Doesn't mean cutting people off who you care about. But it's just resolving whatever the current situation is. And it could be as simple as someone's asked you about something and I haven't got back to you and you go, I'm just going to close off this conversation now. From a business perspective, it could be you keep checking in with people just following up just following up. Just comes I'm just gonna close this inquiry. Come back to me when you're ready. You'll find whatever works for you. The important thing is to bring as many of those conversations to a permanent resolution but to a temporary resolution for wherever you're at. Close it off. close that loop. Protect how you're feeling your health. And you'll notice the difference in how you feel instantly. I hope you enjoyed this episode of The Grief Code podcast.
