I know the power of this word, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it

a couple of years ago, I allowed myself to get burned out again, had been a repeat pattern. And I crashed my car in the driveway. And I was driving the old car, the shopping trolley that nobody goes out for when we need the second car. I crashed into the newer car. So I crashed into my other car in my own driveway. That's where I was at. And then I was shocked. Even though at the top of the driveway, I'd looked down and senior the car was there. We've got one driveway leading to two doors and somehow got it wrong was the end of the year. And I was absolutely cooked mentally, physically, emotionally burn out again. And despite putting a lot of time and effort into looking after my energy and having boundaries, my mind was a mess that overthinking was exhausting me. The pressure I was placing on myself was immense. And that voice in my head was on overdrive. And while I should you schedule regular breaks in what days and my weeks and yeah, I still wasn't properly switching off. So even when I was resting I wasn't really switching off I wasn't resting at all that all that was things and all that stuff that still need to be done was spinning around in my head and was couldn't switch off. So have mentally exhausted by Tuesday's most weeks, particularly as a you can do an end. In Volume conversation when I was coaching when I was in my flow in my zone, everything still worked perfectly fine. In fact, I got energized. But once I changed, tried to change direction and get those other things done that I needed to get done. Instead, nothing left wasn't present with my family wasn't getting stuff done that I needed to. I was absolutely stuck in survival mode. Until eventually I crashed the cars. When positive was I learned a new skill, I got a second use for the hate go and bought some years ago and learn how to depress sorry, learn how to fix a depressed bumper bar. That's pretty cool. Although it's not something I want to have to do we get. So for the next 12 months, I might have focus on learning to switch off and it made such a huge difference was sharper, more focused, and the improvements in my personal life and business were priceless. And I want to share some of the best that I've learned in that space. So you can quiet that voice in your head and actually create some clear focus and productivity every day. I love this quote. thinking too much leads to paralysis by analysis. It's important to think things through but many use thinking as a means of avoiding action. Sorry, I have a bit of water. I'm getting a bit of scratching my throat here. So the overthinking just kills us really simple. Into the day, brain dump and have a week sprayed up everything you need to do. Everything's not done to get it out of your head. All of it to keep writing until you've exhausted it right the certainty that you know, write the things you're not sure of right questions. Just get it all out. It's like, freestyle journaling, no structure, just getting it all out. So that's one, daily journaling, which you've heard mentioned again, and again, I won't go into detail about that now, meditation. If you haven't had a crack at meditation, well, one is hit me up. And I'll send you some, some educated education, but some training videos on how to get started, even for people who think that they don't know how to do it or scared of it. It's some, it's been overcomplicated. And like anything that requires some muscle building and requires some practice, you're not going to get it straightaway the mindfulness activities finding your go to form of exercise that you know, clears the mind. I've mentioned before how much I've made running an important part of my life, I'm doing it three times a week, non negotiable. And I feel so much better for it. The clarity it gives me in my mind, and of course, the physical benefits are, they go without saying, you feel amazing? I feel light, feel fast. But the mental clarity and the processing that goes on all around and the information that comes through to me? Amazing. So don't have a complicated there's, there's three fours really simple steps you can take today to start switching off. And of course, when you're ready, then it's about exploring Well, what are those repeat patterns that show up? Finding out what they're actually telling you? Where they're sitting in my body? What are those memories that I just can't seem to shake and find the safe place to talk those out to get them out of your head. But again, if you're not ready to that, ready for that, and then use these resources that I've explained to you go back in the episodes where I've spoken about each of them in more depth. Somewhere in the archives there there's a meditation as well. I have to start doing some more of those as well. So you can properly switch off so you can properly recharge. And you can avoid that burnout. Not having to keep yelling for the same cycle. Find that freedom.
