Differently-Wired Kids Aren't Broken with Debbie Reber

Differently-Wired Kids Aren't Broken with Debbie Reber

The interesting thing about kids that don't follow the developmental schedule exactly, is that they are often only behind in some things and far ahead in others.

It's time to celebrate the strengths and stress less about the delays. You might just find that your child learns to tie his shoes years later when he develops a passion for braiding!

Today's guest is an expert on shifting how we see our kids and the expectations we put on them so we can enjoy our children exactly as they are.

Debbie Reber, MA, is a parenting activist, New York Times bestselling author, keynote speaker, and the founder of TiLT Parenting, a website, top podcast, and resource for parents who are raising differently wired children. Her newest book, Differently Wired: A Parent’s Guide to Raising an Atypical Child with Confidence and Hope, came out in June 2018. After living abroad in the Netherlands for five years, Debbie, her husband, and 17-year-old son moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2019.
