My guest is Dr. Deborah Offner, a child psychologist and author, provides valuable insights and strategies for parents and teachers. Our conversation highlights the importance of understanding children's perception of parental stress, the significance of parental involvement during the adolescent years, and the need for collaboration between parents and teachers. Dr. Deborah Offner is a clinical psychologist who has worked in schools and colleges as a counselor and educator for 25 years. Currently, she serves as Consulting Psychologist at Beacon Academy, a one-year, full-time preparatory program for students from low-income households in the Boston area who plan to attend independent day and boarding schools.
