Is ground zero now, and what to do about it

Find your powerful and resourceful states in NLP

The trajectory of our mind could be focusing inward to a pinpoint, or expansively outward to infinity. Both are possible. But, when it is inward, how are we being, when the world we live in shrinks our world to a postage stamp.

If we are not coping, then the view through the double pane glass may be streaked with yesterdays rain, or clouding the sunrise. But the sun will still rise, it is whether we recognize it or not. When it gets really bad, maybe we feel like we are in a deep well. And that well may even have lots of water, preventing us from touching the bottom. It is those times when we feel like we are drowning, or treading water.

What then, when it is bleak, black, wet, cold and we can't seem to escape. Well, as a survivor of a plane crash, that crashed an flipped in water, I can say that even in life's most dire circumstances, out of breath, out of time, we still have the ability to make choices. And NLP can really be a game changer. If we have survival strategies already build into our resilience mechanisms. 

There are these little key strategies to surviving stressful times. For example, we can move into the micro truths of our world. How it exists in concrete form. Identifying the constant and unchanging nature that is in our life. Our breath, the shoes we wear, that we see color, shape, textures, tune into music and vibrations, sink into soft chairs to lounge or a microfiber hoodie. Pull in the aroma of a rose, or taste of chocolate, or imagine biting into a bright fresh lemon.

So, when stressed or feeling squashed in the moment, simply seek out simple answers all around you.

And if the curtain remains huddled, then what color is the sky today, locked inside your mind.

Like Nelson Mandela once said, they may lock my body away, but they can never lock my mind. Mind freedom is something we may be aware of, but do will utilize it fully for reducing our stress, maintaining perspective, empowering purpose, or turning challenge into change?

Learning how to access powerful mind resources is life enhancing. NLP or neuro linguistics programming is a fluid framework of the mind that can be changed, modified, combined, added to or subtracted from. NLP studies human performance and how to enhance, transfer the information to others and transform it for ourselves.

NLP teaches us how we learn, accelerate our learning potential, motivate ourselves and change our behavior. It also teaches us how to clarify our communication skills, build rapport and trust quickly, have greater influence on those around us.

NLP greatest gift is the ability to take the challenge and turn it into positive life change. 

NLP breakthroughs are visible through a sense of calm, feeling in control and empowered, perspective shifts, behavioral change, and enhanced performance. Change occurs easily because NLP uses subconscious mind processes that bi-pass the critical thinking; like metaphors; that quickly links, alters, and installs a new perspective. 

Metaphors moving through the landscape of our thoughts, give us a glimpse of the power we may not know we have. Allows us to imagine ourselves moving mountains. And when mountains move, we may then take that momentum and travel forward and back in through time, rewriting both our past and our future.

Find a comfortable place to sit and relax where you know you are not going to be disturbed for the next 10 minutes, and remember never to listen to an NLP session, while operating a moving vehicle.

For this session we will require two anchor areas on our body. An anchor is a physical location on your body that we will add pressure to when asked to do so. For example, take the your left hand and hold your right forearm at the wrist. Call this area anchor one. Now take your left hand and hold your forearm next to the elbow, this will be noted as anchor two.
