Free the inner anger junkie

Free the inner anger junkie

Breakthrough blueprint for releasing anger

If there is a cycle of addiction, anger is clearly one of them. Why are all the popular shows on television about destruction, murder and sexual deviancy. Do they resonate somehow and that is how we fuel our own anger?

Because destructive media has become a bestseller. Out of control anger and rage.

The fact that our mind does not recognize reality from fantasy. Sure we can intellectually define, but our mind simple takes everything as the truth. That is why our bodies rise with expectation, or recoil at the unfathomable. Watching our worst nightmare from the comfort of our couch.

These types of media feed a predictable dopamine feedback mechanism when we are an anger junkie. Like the fast food industry, movies have become the junk food for our mind.

In fact sex, drugs and rock and role have become an outlet for personal frustration without us having to leave our confines to blow off steam. Take note of the movies you chose and the mood within your mind.

I did this years ago, noting my frustration with the need to watch a good crime scene show. Through watching the despair, I felt somehow better. Once I became aware of this, I could change what helped me feel better and to heal my inner angst.

But before that awareness, the cycle of unhappiness; being out of sync; out of control continued. Whether it was feeling the victim of circumstance, blaming others for my situation, it all lead down the garden path to destruction. Full blown irritation.

(For the purpose of this article, dopamine, in relationship to cause, effect and response to stimulus is the focus)

The cycle of addiction cycles and when we are fully aggravated, our mind begs for relief in the form of dopamine. What will ease the pain. And if the answer was outrage, then the resulting anger actually creates the desired high. A wild fire flush of dopamine and other brain chemicals satisfy our need.

Acting out our rage; in front of a mirror; brings more reward. Alas, the release from our mindset is short lived. The euphoria gives way to remorse, embarrassment and more. We may regret hurting someones feelings; more often the ones we love the most; destroying marriages, friendships, careers while perpetuating our own unhappiness.

And within our search for inner peace, we stack on other addictions. Alcohol, drugs, sex and food to name a few.
Did you know alcoholics are the angriest people on the planet?

Anger has been the excuse for all types of destructive behavior. Like any other addiction, whatever the cause believed. It becomes our own responsibility to heal. It is not a wound we see, but it is a wound none the less.

we can set aside a cat, the dirty laundry or even our homework, but anger is lot healed by setting it aside. Sooner or later it will build until we trip and fall flay of our face.

But first lets explore the mind so we can connect the dots within our emotions center, the frontal lobe of the neo-cortex which take about twenty five years to reach maturity.

This could affect ones ability to decide before acting out our emotion.

The limbic or middle brain is our emotional stronghold, where our sensory experience of the world at large is processed. And where we can be high-jacked by addictive behaviors.

As we all know there are proven ways to break cycles of behavior. healthier means to get the dopamine we crave.

Along with exercise, laughter, dance, song, friends and mindful activities, dopamine balances can be easily maintained.

By why break it when you can be completely free. Learning the psychology behind our actions is key.

When we understand Kinesiological reality; of the energetic fields; we see the impact to our world and our future opportunities.

But we also understand that not all anger is bad. There can be useful ways to engage our feelings. To rise above adversity, rather than spiral downward into destructive behavior.

And when the majority of us are simply seeking a inner sense of well-being, why live in a cycle of anger.

I know now that we were never meant to live in emotional pain. and it doesn't have to be painful to rid ourselves of old wounds.

What I've learned is that most of our emotions can be broken down into hurt, anger, sadness, fear and guild. The generic nature of "I'm fine." Trust me, as I smile and say, "nobody is fine."

The generic big five seem to get trapped. Why they get trapped is because they are negative energy. Attached to an event in our lives that was painful. And this becomes our filter of the world we live in.

Imagine seeing your day in a new light, absent of these filters. If I can give the analogy of pea soup. If we walk through pea soup every day, what do we see, feel, hear, smell and taste. Removing the big five, allows us to walk free of the soup.

We experience our world in a new light. The sweetness rises up, we tune into a different rhythm, lighter and effortless and unbound by our past moving toward peace and love.

There are different neuroscience practices that have been highly effective. We understand now that every emotion is connected to physiology. We used to have to do talk therapy, and it is still effective for helping us connect the dots. But we've also discovered that by changing the physiology of that particular emotion can dissolve the emotional in our consciousness.

It takes minutes not years and has been proven to last. But timeline therapy is the big daddy of emotional release. and it's powerful processes bring relief and sense of lightness.

Let's have a conversation about how it can help you overcome what's holding you back.
