Speaker:

Hello.

Speaker:

Thanks for joining me today.

Speaker:

I'm especially grateful for your company as I celebrate.

Speaker:

That's not quite the right word, but certainly as I acknowledge and mark an

Speaker:

occasion, an anniversary of sorts, not an anniversary from a wedding, although

Speaker:

that's ironic that I should think about that because in fact, it's the

Speaker:

anniversary of the beginning of a divorce.

Speaker:

365 days ago today, I boarded a flight, to leave a marriage, a

Speaker:

life that I had lived for 12 years.

Speaker:

a lot of relationships, and some unhealthy habits and patterns in my life,

Speaker:

and I've spent the last year unlearning some of my lessons during that period

Speaker:

and getting reacquainted with me.

Speaker:

The real me!

Speaker:

Absolutely stunningly surprising to me that 12 months has already gone by

Speaker:

another year of my life on this planet.

Speaker:

And it was hard.

Speaker:

There was a lot of hard stuff.

Speaker:

There was a lot of emotional stuff.

Speaker:

There was a lot of gut wrenching, soul searching, hand ringing,

Speaker:

hair pulling, you name it, during that period of time where I often

Speaker:

said What The F have you done here?

Speaker:

Was it the right thing?

Speaker:

Have you made a mistake?

Speaker:

Are you sure this is what you want.

Speaker:

I am sure.

Speaker:

I am sure indeed.

Speaker:

But it did take a while for me to get to this place of not looking back over

Speaker:

my shoulder and not doubting in my own judgment that it was hard to do

Speaker:

this, but I had to do it in order to continue to thrive and live my best life.

Speaker:

My Encore, this one and whatever the future ones will be.

Speaker:

I'm known as the Encore Catalyst Transformation Catalyst, the mistress of

Speaker:

reinvention in some circles, and that was long before this past 12 months change.

Speaker:

If you're not sure what catalyst means, the definition for me, that really makes

Speaker:

sense is that a catalyst is a substance or an individual who enables or facilitates

Speaker:

a change or a reaction without being consumed or changed by the reaction.

Speaker:

A year ago and more back, I realized I was being consumed by the life that I

Speaker:

was living, and I was being changed in ways that I didn't like and were not

Speaker:

sustainable to my mind, my body, my soul.

Speaker:

My spirit was disintegrating in front of me and I really

Speaker:

felt that I was dying slowly.

Speaker:

Sounds very dramatic.

Speaker:

I know, but really I felt like I, my life force was leaking out of me.

Speaker:

Like the old Chinese torture c alled Death by a Thousand Cuts.

Speaker:

Rather than continue that very slow death, I made a decision to try for a new life.

Speaker:

Here I am.

Speaker:

I survived.

Speaker:

And I am thriving and I'm not finished reinventing or transforming

Speaker:

by any stretch of the imagination.

Speaker:

In fact, I hope I never will.

Speaker:

Cuz I think once you stop changing and growing and evolving, that is the end.

Speaker:

That is the end of your life and you begin to contract and decline.

Speaker:

I've learned a tremendous amount about myself and life over the past year,

Speaker:

and because I am a lifelong learner, I'm grateful for that and I know that

Speaker:

there's much more for me to learn.

Speaker:

But today I'd like to share just 10 of the lessons that I really felt

Speaker:

were worth all of that hard knocks, hard learning in the past 12 months.

Speaker:

I learned that the sun rises every day and it's up to me to do the same.

Speaker:

I bring light to others, but I shine brightest when I

Speaker:

loved myself first and most.

Speaker:

I did not make a mistake.

Speaker:

I learned what I did not want, and I decided to pursue what I did want.

Speaker:

Relationships change in unforeseen ways.

Speaker:

Accepting change is part of our growth and letting go with love

Speaker:

is the only healthy option.

Speaker:

When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

Speaker:

That wisdom is thanks to Dr.

Speaker:

Maya Angelou.

Speaker:

Regret is fatal if you allow it to grow and fester.

Speaker:

Everything I expected to be true about this age and stage of my life was wrong.

Speaker:

Everything I experience now at this age and stage of my life is better only

Speaker:

if I begin and keep moving forward.

Speaker:

Everything I accomplish at this age and stage of my life matters.

Speaker:

I am living my legacy.

Speaker:

Number 10 is a lesson I learned a long time ago in my life, and I

Speaker:

am grateful for this refreshment and reinforcement of this.

Speaker:

I have the power to grant wishes starting with my own.

Speaker:

If these lessons resonate with you, and if you're thinking, but how do you start?

Speaker:

Where do you begin?

Speaker:

What is my legacy?

Speaker:

How can I do this with no regrets.

Speaker:

Then I'd like to share with you something that I created and used

Speaker:

for myself and used this many times with clients and friends and people

Speaker:

that share my vision for let's live our life fully and make a difference.

Speaker:

It's called Live Your Eulogy, and it's an exercise that I guide you

Speaker:

through that will help you script your eulogy the way you'd like it

Speaker:

to be read and to get started with a plan to live your legacy while you

Speaker:

are alive to influence it, Impact it.

Speaker:

That's available at FreeGiftFromIsabel.Com and I'd love to hear what you come up

Speaker:

with, for your eulogy, your Legacy plan.

Speaker:

You can share that with us in the Lift As You Climb Movement Facebook group.

Speaker:

Or reach out to me at Hello@TheEncoreCatalyst.com.

Speaker:

If you'd like to have a little bit more of the backstory of how I got to this

Speaker:

anniversary occasion today, Episode 41 - Irreconcilable Change, I'll give

Speaker:

you a little bit more background.

Speaker:

So in closing, Thank you again, and I hope to see you here soon because

Speaker:

we have a big, exciting future ahead of us, OUR ENCORES, and I'd
