Saylor Cooper:

Saylor Cooper:

Siverson . How you doing?

Guy Siverson:

Good doing really good doing really good. I'd like

Guy Siverson:

to just make a slight correction on what you said. You said 75,

Guy Siverson:

five star reviews. And that would be something cool.

Saylor Cooper:

Came up with you. That's what your bio was in

Saylor Cooper:

there. So

Guy Siverson:

yeah, we actually have more than 405 star reviews

Guy Siverson:

on Google in the last five years.

Saylor Cooper:

Yay.

Guy Siverson:

That's crushing it. Now. She's here with me in

Guy Siverson:

spirit. She's not here on camera. I'm I'm kind of the

Guy Siverson:

person that's behind that. I'm the mouth. She's the technical.

Guy Siverson:

So

Saylor Cooper:

there we go. Yeah, it takes a team. It takes

Saylor Cooper:

a team. There we go. Oh, yeah.

Guy Siverson:

Cool. Absolutely.

Saylor Cooper:

So let's start. What got yelling to massage

Saylor Cooper:

therapy because I'm hopeful without sight. We feature people

Saylor Cooper:

overcoming challenges in life and now live a life full of

Saylor Cooper:

bliss, reigning supreme, I'm sure you all had challenges.

Saylor Cooper:

What got?

Guy Siverson:

Absolutely. So when we started heading this

Guy Siverson:

direction, I was in a failed company. I had owned a failed

Guy Siverson:

company that in your readout for what you want here on this

Guy Siverson:

broadcast. I wanted to be able to deliver that because we as a

Guy Siverson:

company failed, so did my spirits, shall we say? So did my

Guy Siverson:

energy I became suicidally depressed. Ah, I was like, you

Guy Siverson:

know, I'm just done with this thing called life. And yet, and

Guy Siverson:

at that point, you know, the lowest level of where we were.

Guy Siverson:

We were living in six feet of snow. Negative 20 degree below

Guy Siverson:

weather in a place called St. Mary's, Idaho. Why do I tell you

Guy Siverson:

all that while our house was a teepee?

Saylor Cooper:

Yeah, I'm actually going to Idaho in a

Saylor Cooper:

week. Have you been to Sandali?

Guy Siverson:

Absolutely. Absolutely. I'm going in live in

Guy Siverson:

a TPU.

Tyler Evans:

That's awesome.

Unknown:

Six feet of snow, negative 20 suicidally depressed

Unknown:

in a teepee. And we decided that we needed to make a change. With

Unknown:

a failed company that we had, we were all out of money. We had

Unknown:

none of that.

Saylor Cooper:

You know, right, right?

Guy Siverson:

Yeah, me and my wife. So what are we gonna do?

Guy Siverson:

Well, we contacted a School of Massage in Hermosa, who happens

Guy Siverson:

to be part of our church and said we want to she Irene wanted

Guy Siverson:

to come and do massage. I didn't want to do massage. Irene had

Guy Siverson:

been told long time before that she'd be an excellent person at

Guy Siverson:

massage. But she knew she could never do it because she has

Guy Siverson:

dyslexia. Ah, so she never pursued that. I had no interest

Guy Siverson:

in it. I'm more of a communicator. I'm psychology and

Guy Siverson:

communication. I'm soft sciences. I'm not hard sciences.

Guy Siverson:

Anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology? No, thank you all.

Guy Siverson:

And yeah, we called up and we said that she wanted to come to

Guy Siverson:

school. We call the very next day, the very next day. And we

Guy Siverson:

said, we're not coming. You want money in order for us to go

Guy Siverson:

through your programme and we are flat out of that. We are not

Guy Siverson:

going to be coming. They asked us to do one thing. They asked

Guy Siverson:

us to pray and just see what would happen. One week later, we

Guy Siverson:

get a call from a friend. Friend wants us to come for dinner. We

Guy Siverson:

come over for dinner. The friend says we understand your

Guy Siverson:

situation and how you got here. We understand the dynamics. We

Guy Siverson:

want to help. We're going to pay for Irene schooling. Amen. There

Guy Siverson:

you go. There you go. Absolutely. Called the school

Guy Siverson:

back to school offered the possibility of both of us going

Guy Siverson:

to school for just about the same cost as what she was going

Guy Siverson:

to school. Alright, we talked to our donors, and we agreed we

Guy Siverson:

would both go to school. Got on campus. On campus, the science

Guy Siverson:

teacher comes up to me and says, I'm really concerned about your

Guy Siverson:

wife. And I said, Why are you concerned about my why? And he

Guy Siverson:

said, because she's got dyslexia. I don't think she can

Guy Siverson:

pass my tests are my class. And I'd say you are absolutely

Guy Siverson:

right. She's got dyslexia. She's also got purpose. She's also got

Guy Siverson:

passion. She's also got pursuit, you will have no trouble with my

Guy Siverson:

wife. But I guarantee you one thing, you do have trouble in

Guy Siverson:

your in your class. I've never been to his class. How did I

Guy Siverson:

know that he had trouble in his labs. He said, Well, what's my

Guy Siverson:

trouble? I said, Well, sir, you're looking at it. Because

Guy Siverson:

unlike my wife, who has the purpose, who has the passion,

Guy Siverson:

who has the pursuit, I have none of that. I have none of that.

Guy Siverson:

And you're going to help me pass your tests and your class. I

Guy Siverson:

just want to wish you good luck ahead of time. Now before I go

Guy Siverson:

on, do you have any questions for me?

Saylor Cooper:

Wow. That's it's crazy. So you even detected that

Saylor Cooper:

he will have trouble. He had trouble I

Guy Siverson:

knew I would. I didn't have any interest in hard

Guy Siverson:

sciences. Right. That's a guy.

Saylor Cooper:

Don't get me cry because that's a powerful story.

Guy Siverson:

Oh, we're just getting started

Saylor Cooper:

with me a tie Tyler on an incredible journey.

Saylor Cooper:

And we think through very similar challenges. We're just

Saylor Cooper:

gonna see what both glide and we've had challenges and it's

Saylor Cooper:

only thanks to some generous dusters

Guy Siverson:

to really helped us awesome

Saylor Cooper:

day and we can't wait to see what's ahead a guy.

Saylor Cooper:

My best friends.

Guy Siverson:

Well, let's keep the ball rolling. Unless,

Guy Siverson:

Matthew, do you have any question for me?

Tyler Evans:

So yeah, I remember when I was younger, I wanted to

Tyler Evans:

be Emma Seuss. And there's times where I think you know, because,

Tyler Evans:

you know, I owe my sister in law. I live with her. She always

Tyler Evans:

likes me to massage her, you know, like the back and stuff.

Tyler Evans:

And, like, she's, you know, she's like, man, you didn't even

Tyler Evans:

go to massage school and you're good at this. I'm like, Oh,

Tyler Evans:

thank you. A lot of people have the concept. You have to go to

Tyler Evans:

massage school to get to be able to Seuss. That is true, right?

Guy Siverson:

You have really depends on what state you live

Guy Siverson:

in. Different states have different regulations. Now.

Guy Siverson:

You're gonna get paid for it. Technically, you really should

Guy Siverson:

go to school, but there are blind massage therapists out

Guy Siverson:

there.

Tyler Evans:

Oh, I know there are there was a movie I watched

Tyler Evans:

actually called at first sight with Val Kilmer and Mira

Tyler Evans:

Sorvino. You don't know if you've heard of that movie I

Tyler Evans:

haven't. He's a misuse. Of course. He's blind. Yeah, he

Tyler Evans:

actually gets infatuated with it. And then of course, he gains

Tyler Evans:

a sight through surgery and hates seeing and then he wants

Tyler Evans:

goes blind again. So yeah,

Saylor Cooper:

there are the lameness uses. There are,

Tyler Evans:

there are absolutely I

Guy Siverson:

don't have to do that. Shall we continue forward?

Saylor Cooper:

Yes. So that's continued for? Yes. Awesome.

Guy Siverson:

So about halfway through school. God talks to me.

Guy Siverson:

And he tells me to go look for work. Well, I understand that

Guy Siverson:

God doesn't necessarily understand how all the dynamics

Guy Siverson:

work down here on Earth. So I was there to help him out. I

Guy Siverson:

advised him that there is not a possibility that anyone anywhere

Guy Siverson:

is going to hire someone who was halfway graduated. So there's

Guy Siverson:

absolutely no reason for me to look for work. To which he

Guy Siverson:

responds back, look for work. I go out onto indeed.com. And I

Guy Siverson:

find on indeed.com. A, the first reference I find is a company

Guy Siverson:

that will look for clients for you and you pay them based on

Guy Siverson:

the clients that they send you.

Tyler Evans:

I called them up.

Guy Siverson:

We had a great conversation. Until they asked a

Guy Siverson:

very bad question. The question had, like, where's your office?

Guy Siverson:

Well, remember, I'm broke. I'm also a student.

Guy Siverson:

And the closest area where a good office would be is 45

Guy Siverson:

minutes away. And I said, Well, if you don't have an office,

Guy Siverson:

because I didn't have an office, we can help you. So I said,

Guy Siverson:

Alright, send me your paperwork, send me the contract. I will

Guy Siverson:

sign your contract. And I will have an office in two weeks. I

Guy Siverson:

don't know where about it, where it how it works where you guys

Guy Siverson:

are. But here in Rapid City, how many offices do you think are

Guy Siverson:

available for $0? To Rent monthly? Yeah. Exactly. Well,

Guy Siverson:

that's what I was gonna, that's what we were gonna find. So I

Guy Siverson:

turned to God, and I said, Look, you brought us here to South

Guy Siverson:

Dakota, a place I would never live. I remember being in

Guy Siverson:

Spokane, Washington and hearing on the radio. Today in South

Guy Siverson:

Dakota, it will be negative 45. And I was really glad I didn't

Guy Siverson:

live there. Well, now I do. Oh, yeah. And so, two weeks, about a

Guy Siverson:

week later, we go to a chair massage outing at the Tyrian

Guy Siverson:

massage outing. There's what I call a crazy water lady. Guess

Guy Siverson:

what the crazy water lady wanted to talk about? Crazy water lady

Guy Siverson:

want to talk about water. I didn't want to talk about water.

Guy Siverson:

When talking about massage. She wanted to talk about water. I

Guy Siverson:

didn't want to talk about water. I want to talk about massage.

Guy Siverson:

Then I came up with an idea. I would ask for her business card.

Guy Siverson:

She would think she had one. And she'd leave me alone. It worked

Guy Siverson:

like a charm. And then I'm there going through paperwork and

Guy Siverson:

whatnot. Guess what surfaces but her business, Kurt? Wow. God

Guy Siverson:

tells me at that point, I'll let you back in and just minute God

Guy Siverson:

tells me at that point. Call her. Well, I need to help God

Guy Siverson:

out again. Because I needed to let him know I don't do flat

Guy Siverson:

states and shattering Nebraska is flat. I'm from the mountains.

Guy Siverson:

I like my mountains.

Saylor Cooper:

Yeah, yeah. You like the mountains? Oh,

Saylor Cooper:

absolutely.

Guy Siverson:

You know, it's interesting. What?

Tyler Evans:

I need to help God out. You know, he needs to help

Tyler Evans:

you out.

Guy Siverson:

Of course, but do we get in that attitude?

Guy Siverson:

Sometimes when we

Tyler Evans:

think about the characters like even from, you

Tyler Evans:

know, just the very beginning of any candidate, whatever. And of

Tyler Evans:

course, Noah, Noah is a prime example. Like he told Noah what

Tyler Evans:

to do. He didn't. He didn't say how it's going to be done. He

Tyler Evans:

just said do it. Yep. Yep. You just said trust me and rely on

Tyler Evans:

me. And it's gonna work. And

Guy Siverson:

then we're in the end. We're in the process of

Guy Siverson:

learning. Absolutely. Yeah, well, I call the crazy water

Guy Siverson:

lady up and guess what the crazy water lady wanted to talk about?

Guy Siverson:

Water. Absolutely. You want to talk about water. I didn't want

Guy Siverson:

to talk about whatever I want to talk about my anatomy test. You

Guy Siverson:

want to talk about water. I want to talk about an essay.

Saylor Cooper:

You had to do anatomy Asking for massage

Saylor Cooper:

therapy then. Oh, yeah, that's

Guy Siverson:

definitely we have four different science classes

Guy Siverson:

for different science classes.

Tyler Evans:

So, points, all that stuff. Yeah.

Guy Siverson:

And then she mentions that she has a friend,

Guy Siverson:

a couple of friends that have a water store in Rapid City, South

Guy Siverson:

Dakota. That's the city where I live. Suddenly, guess who wants

Guy Siverson:

to talk about water? Hydration massage. Hmm, I think

Tyler Evans:

that same lady,

Guy Siverson:

that same lady that was an hour and a half

Guy Siverson:

away, new, a new a couple here. So I met with the water store

Guy Siverson:

people. And we decided we wanted to do business together. And

Guy Siverson:

what they told me was, because we understand your situation, we

Guy Siverson:

want to help you out. For the first six months, you owe no

Guy Siverson:

rent, unless you start doing really good. This all took place

Guy Siverson:

in the course of two weeks, we now have our place to rent at

Guy Siverson:

zero per month. So we started paying them as it was three

Guy Siverson:

months in.

Guy Siverson:

So now, after all of that,

Guy Siverson:

well actually kind of in between. We needed a table, we

Guy Siverson:

needed sheets, we needed oil, we needed business cards. So we

Guy Siverson:

thought on no money, wonder what the bank would loan us. And so

Guy Siverson:

we called up the bank, and we said, yeah, here's our

Guy Siverson:

situation. They said, Oh, yeah, we can get you a $5,000 loan to

Guy Siverson:

share. What's that? Say? Share it out? Yeah. Well, so we

Guy Siverson:

started using our credit cards, because we knew that loan money

Guy Siverson:

was coming through, we got the tables we needed. And we got the

Guy Siverson:

chairs we needed. We got the supplies we needed. We got the

Guy Siverson:

oils, we needed, we got the business cards, we needed, the

Guy Siverson:

only thing we weren't getting was that $5,000. Right. And so

Guy Siverson:

we called the bank back up again. That's not when we wanted

Guy Siverson:

to hear oops, we made a mistake.

Tyler Evans:

So you know what you could do turn around and sue

Tyler Evans:

that bank and say, Hey, you should have

Tyler Evans:

been? Well,

Tyler Evans:

for trust issues.

Guy Siverson:

Yeah, it's not what we did. Instead, what we

Guy Siverson:

did was you said, Well, we've been pushed into the letter B.

Guy Siverson:

And we drove to the attorney. Yeah, to Firebase, to Firebase

Guy Siverson:

of file bankruptcy. So we started our business, you know,

Guy Siverson:

you when you start a business, you're supposed to have this

Guy Siverson:

capital partner, then that the business can survive on the

Guy Siverson:

show. Yeah, cuz we had none of that. In fact, we were bankrupt.

Saylor Cooper:

And what caused you to go bankrupt? And if

Saylor Cooper:

people helped you out?

Guy Siverson:

Well, they helped us with the rent. But we had

Guy Siverson:

maxed out our credit cards, and we didn't have the ability to

Guy Siverson:

pay it because we hadn't built our clientele up. Ah,

Tyler Evans:

I see. So what's interesting about bank but

Tyler Evans:

what's interesting about bankruptcy is it doesn't

Tyler Evans:

actually dissolve the company entirely. It just allows the

Tyler Evans:

company to, like, in a sense, reset its finances, and

Tyler Evans:

eventually, they could get back on their feet. Because just

Tyler Evans:

because you go through bankruptcy and have bankruptcy

Tyler Evans:

doesn't mean you close.

Guy Siverson:

That's right. Yeah, that's right. So on the

Guy Siverson:

way into the bankruptcy court, parking lot, I have my Ford C

Guy Siverson:

max electric vehicle. It's a real nice vehicle. I've never

Guy Siverson:

had any problem with it at all. It's a beautiful vehicle. I love

Guy Siverson:

it. It's a nice vehicle. It's probably about the only 19 we

Guy Siverson:

had at that point. And I prayed and I said, Lord, if this car is

Guy Siverson:

to be part of that bankruptcy, please show me a sign. Instantly

Guy Siverson:

it stopped working. Whoa. And I, I was in middle of the parking

Guy Siverson:

lot. My wife's in the driver in the passenger seat. I can't get

Guy Siverson:

the car started. It will not start. I'm not even in a parking

Guy Siverson:

space. So I turned back to learning and saying, Okay, I get

Guy Siverson:

it. I get the sign. But I need to park the car so I can sign

Guy Siverson:

the papers. So would you turn this car back on? Because I

Guy Siverson:

can't. I push the button and fired up right now.

Tyler Evans:

Whoa, oh, wow. He said we parked

Guy Siverson:

the car. We went we went and parked the car and

Guy Siverson:

sign the papers. Took the car over the Ford dealers walked in

Guy Siverson:

the Ford dealers put the keys on the counter turned around and

Guy Siverson:

the reception says, Hey, wait, what are you doing? I said,

Guy Siverson:

Well, I'm giving you my car. I said well, you can't just do

Guy Siverson:

that. said strange because I just did that. And I walked out

Guy Siverson:

My friend who had helped me get over there, said, You know, we

Guy Siverson:

have a car. I called it the miracle car. Why is it the

Guy Siverson:

miracle car? Largely because it was a miracle when anywhere? Oh,

Guy Siverson:

yeah. The front window was shattered in multiple places.

Guy Siverson:

The door handles and the doors were falling off. The ceiling

Guy Siverson:

tile, for the ceiling up above, was flaking off in on our heads,

Guy Siverson:

not a bottom not a problem for a bald person. But my wife's not

Guy Siverson:

bald. And basically, when you were when we were heading

Guy Siverson:

somewhere, you could probably hear us about three miles away.

Guy Siverson:

I mean, it was, that was the car. About a year and a half

Guy Siverson:

later, we got another car because of a friend. The very

Guy Siverson:

next week after we got that other car, the car stopped

Guy Siverson:

working and even trained mechanics could not get it

Guy Siverson:

started again.

Saylor Cooper:

So what happened to the Ford C? Max, you gave it

Saylor Cooper:

up for the bankruptcy? What happened?

Guy Siverson:

Well, I gave it up to the bankruptcy. I let it go.

Guy Siverson:

And I said, You know what, whatever it takes. We're going

Guy Siverson:

to do this. Somebody sacrificed a lot. Yeah, sometimes in the

Guy Siverson:

process of reaching success, you've got to sacrifice a lot,

Guy Siverson:

if not most everything. Wow. So now we are in the water store.

Guy Siverson:

And what we got business cards right at the beginning, although

Guy Siverson:

we didn't realise we couldn't afford them. And my wife had

Guy Siverson:

gone around to all the chiropractors, physical

Guy Siverson:

therapist, practitioners and whatnot, in order to give them

Guy Siverson:

business cards. And that way we could build leads and get leads

Guy Siverson:

from them. Guess how many leads we got from all the business

Guy Siverson:

cards that she handed out?

Guy Siverson:

I don't know none. Hi. You're right, Matthew, you're

Guy Siverson:

absolutely right. It's like

Tyler Evans:

you're saying he said he was saying none? Yeah,

Tyler Evans:

because I guess none. And I knew when you were talking about the

Tyler Evans:

car, how you said the car was just, you didn't have any

Tyler Evans:

problems. I was thinking like in my mind, oh, it's gonna stop

Tyler Evans:

working. That was right, it did.

Saylor Cooper:

And he's still got no leads.

Guy Siverson:

So we got no leaves from all that effort. We

Guy Siverson:

had leads from other things, but not from that effort. Eaten

Guy Siverson:

months later, the water store people say we want to retire and

Guy Siverson:

we want you to take over the water store. That would have

Guy Siverson:

been fine, except for we did not feel called to take over the

Guy Siverson:

water store. So we asked them for 30 days that we could just

Guy Siverson:

pray about it. And they granted us that

Guy Siverson:

the very next week, we get a phone call.

Guy Siverson:

We would like you to join our team, our chiropractic team as

Guy Siverson:

our massage therapist. And I said sorry, I can't help you.

Guy Siverson:

They said, Wait, why can't you help? I said, Well, my wife and

Guy Siverson:

I are both massage therapists. Therefore you would need to be

Guy Siverson:

looking for massage therapists in order to be interested in

Guy Siverson:

order for us to be interested. And they said, Well, we have two

Guy Siverson:

rooms. And I said, Well, we have something to talk about. We met

Guy Siverson:

and they said draw up a letter of everything you would need in

Guy Siverson:

order to move in. We did that. We sent it to him email. They

Guy Siverson:

sent it back. And absolutely every point that we would need

Guy Siverson:

was marked no. We would not be going to the to the chiropractic

Guy Siverson:

clinic. And we would not be staying at the water store. So

Guy Siverson:

we've decided to open up our own clinic found a place that was

Guy Siverson:

perfect, absolutely ideal. The landlord said drop a contract of

Guy Siverson:

everything you need to move in and and we'll just roll it into

Guy Siverson:

your end. Well, I'd heard things like that before. Did that

Guy Siverson:

receive the reply back? I was talking basic. Well, that close

Guy Siverson:

that door. I turned to God and I said God you brought us to South

Guy Siverson:

Dakota a place I would never live. You brought me into a

Guy Siverson:

trade that I would never do. happens to be my most favourite

Guy Siverson:

trade I've ever done. Yeah. And we need a place to practice. Fix

Guy Siverson:

it. Well, at that point, God said send the same exact email

Guy Siverson:

that you sent last week to the chiropractor again. Well, it was

Guy Siverson:

my turn to help God out. Because I absolutely there's no way

Guy Siverson:

think that anyone would change their mind on everything. When

Guy Siverson:

just one week earlier they had said, No, that's totally not

Guy Siverson:

possible. God's wasting my time. And his his talent.

Tyler Evans:

He said send it. I sent it.

Guy Siverson:

One, we got a response back. Absolutely

Guy Siverson:

everything that they had previously said no to. was now a

Guy Siverson:

yes. So we moved in with a chiropractor for about two years

Guy Siverson:

until we decided to open our own clinic. And that's where we are

Guy Siverson:

today. Oh, yeah. Wow.

Saylor Cooper:

I'm confused. Cuz your story is quite compelling.

Saylor Cooper:

It's a roller coaster, but I did get kind of lost. So did you

Saylor Cooper:

fall? Did you declare bankruptcy? Like how did you get

Saylor Cooper:

out of it? Did you pay the debt back? That's what I'm still kind

Saylor Cooper:

of.

Guy Siverson:

Well, once you put one to declare bankruptcy, you

Guy Siverson:

don't pay no debt that

Tyler Evans:

okay. Basically, you're saying, hey, campaign

Tyler Evans:

anything back? I'm not gonna do so.

Saylor Cooper:

It does affect

Guy Siverson:

us? Yeah. And they'll get back in 2010. It

Guy Siverson:

affects your credit for I think it is. Six years.

Saylor Cooper:

Yeah. That you can repair it that that sell.

Saylor Cooper:

Wow. So you finally made it wasn't?

Guy Siverson:

It was 2018 I'm sorry. I was wrong on that.

Tyler Evans:

Whoa. 2018. Yeah.

Guy Siverson:

Right. Right. For what happened in 2019. Guys.

Tyler Evans:

Well, we had a businessman and office on like

Tyler Evans:

this clown.

Guy Siverson:

And in COVID. Yeah. ago. There you go. That's

Guy Siverson:

when

Tyler Evans:

we actually had a businessman Trump. Yeah, we

Tyler Evans:

know. You go. There

Guy Siverson:

you go. I gotcha. I gotcha. I gotcha.

Tyler Evans:

Yeah, that's what we need. Businessman.

Guy Siverson:

What has happened since 2019. Oh, man. COVID.

Guy Siverson:

Exactly. Well, laid back.

Tyler Evans:

And now we're trying to claw our way back from

Tyler Evans:

pandemic.

Guy Siverson:

And it's in this platform that we built our

Guy Siverson:

business of forward with to raving success. Oh, yeah. Now,

Guy Siverson:

we are taking about to take the very next step. Yeah. But before

Guy Siverson:

I tell you about that very next step, is there any other

Guy Siverson:

questions?

Saylor Cooper:

So give us a timeline? Like, what business?

Saylor Cooper:

Were you in before the massage therapy? And what I know what

Saylor Cooper:

failed? What business? Was it? So when did you when did this

Saylor Cooper:

whole journey start? So I can get like an accurate timeline

Saylor Cooper:

and listening to you. So

Guy Siverson:

the we started school in May in May of 2018.

Guy Siverson:

And before that, what basis were you in? Before that? Hold onto

Guy Siverson:

your hats? We were digital marketers. Oh, and that's right.

Guy Siverson:

That's what failed. And that's what we built our business

Guy Siverson:

forward successfully on. Wow.

Saylor Cooper:

And that's when your that's when you were

Saylor Cooper:

suicidal? And all that, right. Absolutely. So why did it fail?

Saylor Cooper:

Because, of course, we don't in our business, we don't want to

Saylor Cooper:

fail. But we want to learn lessons from you if are

Saylor Cooper:

possible.

Guy Siverson:

You know, my business strategy was focused on

Guy Siverson:

one platform, which was called Oh, I can't remember. But it was

Guy Siverson:

one job board platform I made a tonne of money from tonne of

Guy Siverson:

money. Well, that platform joined together with two other

Guy Siverson:

platforms. And I went from making a tonne of money to

Guy Siverson:

making nothing off of it. Oh, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. And so

Guy Siverson:

I, you know, I didn't have a good, multi faceted network to

Guy Siverson:

build myself on. Right.

Saylor Cooper:

That's why we're trying to expand our network.

Saylor Cooper:

Tyler. Yeah.

Tyler Evans:

You know, it's interesting, that you mentioned

Tyler Evans:

that God was telling you to do this thing twice. And, you know,

Tyler Evans:

I was thinking to myself, you know, our timing is not his, his

Tyler Evans:

timing is absolutely perfect. And we don't even realise it. We

Tyler Evans:

think to ourselves, oh, God, I gotta hurry up. I gotta hurry.

Tyler Evans:

I've got to do this. Gotta do this. I'm running out of time.

Tyler Evans:

And God says, you're not. This is my time. And it's perfect.

Tyler Evans:

But to us, we have an in imperfect conception of time, we

Tyler Evans:

think, Oh, we got to do this, and this and this. But God tells

Tyler Evans:

us just be patient sometimes. And sometimes he says, hey, just

Tyler Evans:

do this. So Wow. And it's in this and that's where faith

Tyler Evans:

comes in. He just says, Hey, do it. Just do it. That's it.

Saylor Cooper:

So wow, this started in 2018 and 2023. Five

Saylor Cooper:

years later. Wow. So About a man keep his keep taking us down.

Saylor Cooper:

Keep taking us down. This has been a great story you even one

Saylor Cooper:

might even want my best guest on podcast as far as last. Oh,

Saylor Cooper:

yeah. Glad to

Guy Siverson:

be here. All right. So we don't believe in

Guy Siverson:

what's called traditional deep tissue, we believe that is

Guy Siverson:

actually harmful to the body. And what is that again what the

Guy Siverson:

traditional deep tissue you know, where you got to get in

Guy Siverson:

and break the break up all the knots and whatnot, in order to

Guy Siverson:

get the relief. We believe that is completely wrong.

Tyler Evans:

So what about using, say, the fingers the

Tyler Evans:

thumb to kind of press and manipulate the muscle by

Tyler Evans:

pressing, you know, using like circles. And

Guy Siverson:

so what we are heading towards doing, and it's

Guy Siverson:

actually going to be launched tomorrow is training people how

Guy Siverson:

to do massage correctly. Ah, and it's gonna cost them 10 bucks to

Guy Siverson:

be in the course. Whoa, that's it. That's it. 10 bucks.

Tyler Evans:

Now this massage like do believe and applying

Tyler Evans:

pressure on the muscle and, you know, like things like that

Tyler Evans:

using like them

Guy Siverson:

is so back to cover Matthew, guess what you

Guy Siverson:

need to do? What? During the course?

Guy Siverson:

Join the course. And I will and I will help you guys understand

Guy Siverson:

how to get the best results. We have over 405 star reviews. Look

Guy Siverson:

at any other reviews of massage therapists, nation wide. Don't

Guy Siverson:

have 405 star reviews. Interesting. Wow, the game

Guy Siverson:

changers in massage. I went thinking massage was the last

Guy Siverson:

thing in the world that would ever I would ever be interested

Guy Siverson:

to do to the best thing I've ever done in my life. Wow.

Guy Siverson:

There's only one thing that I haven't told you now. And that's

Guy Siverson:

the link. Can I share that link with you?

Saylor Cooper:

Sure. If you can put all your information in the

Saylor Cooper:

chat everything in the chat about your programmes. I'll put

Saylor Cooper:

this in the show notes and help promote it. That'd be great.

Guy Siverson:

Okay, all I'm gonna give you have a link.

Guy Siverson:

And and it really in with that link. People can go out and find

Guy Siverson:

out what we have. We have a killer landing page that will

Guy Siverson:

describe everything. It's on stop your pain dot club. Stop

Guy Siverson:

your pain dot club. Not CLU BCL UB, correct?

Saylor Cooper:

Yeah, if you could put all this in the chat,

Saylor Cooper:

so that way I can put it

Guy Siverson:

in the chat. Awesome.

Tyler Evans:

Interesting. So basically, everything you've

Tyler Evans:

been taught about massage is basically wrong.

Guy Siverson:

Prep. So then why are they teaching it? Because

Guy Siverson:

they haven't figured it out themselves.

Tyler Evans:

But still, like if they haven't figured it out for

Tyler Evans:

themselves. And while they're doing

Guy Siverson:

well, because they want to make money to don't they

Guy Siverson:

are

Tyler Evans:

sick. So basically, you can become a Soos joining

Tyler Evans:

this class and you can potentially serve.

Guy Siverson:

No, I am not saying that. Oh, okay. What you

Guy Siverson:

can do is you can definitely give an awesome massage. Oh,

Guy Siverson:

yeah. I mean, I don't know. And all and all it takes in order to

Guy Siverson:

find out what the secret sauce behind it is, is a $10 bill.

Tyler Evans:

Wow. And it's just $10 flat, and nothing more,

Tyler Evans:

nothing less. Now there's some there

Guy Siverson:

will be other things that are offered, if

Guy Siverson:

that's of interest, but it's not necessarily like for example,

Guy Siverson:

I've written a book about my story. You can secure that for

Guy Siverson:

yourself. Because, you know, I think this is an incredible

Guy Siverson:

story.

Tyler Evans:

Well guess what we're doing? Me and my friend

Tyler Evans:

Taylor are writing a book to book this book.

Tyler Evans:

What's your book? Plug in the chat. It's a good book.

Saylor Cooper:

It's about family, navigating life's

Saylor Cooper:

challenges,

Tyler Evans:

especially navigating family dynamics and

Tyler Evans:

life's challenges and stuff. Nice. Nice. Yeah. And our books

Tyler Evans:

is basically like a memoir. Now we're not even near than writing

Tyler Evans:

it yet. We're we got to get to writing but we're like we

Tyler Evans:

haven't worked on in a while we get to work on it.

Guy Siverson:

So the book I the book I'm not that I'm working on

Guy Siverson:

currently is

Guy Siverson:

hell and Hell's Highway is paved with gold. Wow.

Tyler Evans:

Another word seems paid. Let's go but in actuality,

Tyler Evans:

it's a Not.

Guy Siverson:

So that particular book that I'm working on now is

Guy Siverson:

basically looking at my background and my past because

Guy Siverson:

it's not been pretty. And looking at how even with the

Guy Siverson:

ugliness, even with the trouble, even with the trauma, God has

Guy Siverson:

brought forward. Yeah, using blessings. Oh, yeah. So hey

Guy Siverson:

guys, I do need to step off. But okay, stop your pain dot club.

Guy Siverson:

Awesome. And before you go, Yes, before you go,

Tyler Evans:

we wanted to ask you have one final question that

Tyler Evans:

we always ask our guests and that is, what do you say to

Tyler Evans:

people who feel they have no hope in life? They don't know

Tyler Evans:

where to turn,

Saylor Cooper:

you answer this? Well, I know you can.

Guy Siverson:

I tell them that, right?

Guy Siverson:

Because if somebody chooses to think they have no hope, then

Guy Siverson:

they don't run till they pick up the gauntlet and move forward in

Guy Siverson:

the hole in a hopeless situation, despite all the

Guy Siverson:

obstacles against them. When they do that, when they choose

Guy Siverson:

to pick up and move forward in the in the empowerment of God in

Guy Siverson:

their lives, then they have hope. But if they want to sit

Guy Siverson:

there and say they have no hope I just tell them they're right.

Tyler Evans:

Yeah. Well, if you think about it, in a sense, they

Tyler Evans:

are right. Because without God, there's no hope. That's what

Tyler Evans:

that's absolutely true. I mean, true. Hope I'm not talking I

Tyler Evans:

just, you know, temporary, you know, this world and then you

Tyler Evans:

die. And that's it. No, oh, God. And anyway,

Saylor Cooper:

but your story is so captivating.

Guy Siverson:

Thank you. I appreciate that. When does it go

Guy Siverson:

live? And,

Saylor Cooper:

and probably a couple of weeks, I'll definitely

Saylor Cooper:

let you know when it goes live. I put my contact information, my

Saylor Cooper:

business card. You love that. If you fill out that form, we'll

Saylor Cooper:

both keep our emails. Okay, let me I'm putting all my programmes

Saylor Cooper:

in the chat too. And we

Tyler Evans:

also have very exciting stuff coming up. That's

Tyler Evans:

your spare party, which is free and a blissful life community,

Tyler Evans:

which is $25 a month.

Saylor Cooper:

Yep. That's all in the chat. That's all in the

Saylor Cooper:

chat.

Guy Siverson:

Awesome. I'll take a look. All right.

Saylor Cooper:

Guys, stay with you guys.

Guy Siverson:

Today. Yes, you did. Awesome.

Saylor Cooper:

Guy Stephenson on episode 52. Stay blessed and

Saylor Cooper:

live life and bliss.
