Well, hello everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Adult Child of Dysfunction.
Speaker AToday we have with us Dr. Tanya English, also known as the soul chiropractor.
Speaker AShe's been practicing healing for over 35 years as first as a massage therapist, then a chiropractor, an energy healer and a blues singer.
Speaker AShe is with the Tanya English Band.
Speaker AShe provides a path for her clients to go from powerless to protected and peaceful.
Speaker AWelcome, Dr. Tanya.
Speaker AHow are you?
Speaker BThank you so much, Tammy.
Speaker BI'm glad to be here.
Speaker AI'm good, good, good.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AI love it when on one of the questions somewhere I was reading when I sent out a questionnaire or whatever and you're put, you put, I may have to sing or do you mind if I sing?
Speaker AAnd I was like, oh, yeah, let's make this Ask me, just ask me.
Speaker BAnd I'll do it.
Speaker ASo, yeah, no, and I love blues music, so maybe we'll have a little at the end.
Speaker ASo, yeah, so you do energy healing, you do chiropractor, you do all of those things.
Speaker AAnd I'm assuming that all of you.
Speaker AI'm going to jump right in.
Speaker AI'm just going to jump right in because your story is going to be sprinkled throughout all of this.
Speaker AWhat got you into music?
Speaker AI'm going to ask you.
Speaker BWell, you know, as a child, I mean, we listened to all kinds of music in my home.
Speaker BWe had everything from folks singing to the Beatles to the Rolling Stones to yes.
Speaker BAnd my sister was a three years older, so she was always bringing in the cool stuff.
Speaker BAnd my parents listened to everything from big band to shows to show tunes and all that, so it was always around.
Speaker BAnd then when I went to school, I was in choir, so I got to sing Handel's Messiah and, and all kinds of wonderful things like that.
Speaker BSo I've always loved music.
Speaker BAnd then when I got into my 40s, I started singing every so often with my husband's blues band.
Speaker BAnd then I would show up and people would ask me if I was going to sing.
Speaker BSo they wanted me to sing.
Speaker BI was kind of doing it for myself because I thought I, I can do this and I'd like to this.
Speaker BMy background's in theater.
Speaker BAnd so I started singing and people said, well, why aren't you two doing a band together?
Speaker BSo I asked Ed if he wanted to be my bass player.
Speaker BAnd he knows bass players, so he said, yes, I will be your bass player.
Speaker BYou don't need to go to any other bass players.
Speaker BSo, so 15 years ago, I started my band My first band ever, when I was 50 years old.
Speaker AOh, that's fun.
Speaker AThat's super fun.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker ASo.
Speaker AAnd you sing the blues.
Speaker AAre you gonna sing some for us right now?
Speaker BYeah, I'll sing my.
Speaker BMy theme song.
Speaker BHealing with the Blues.
Speaker BThat's right.
Speaker BI'm healing with the blues I've got nothing left to lose that's why I'm healing with the blues Such a pain inside the love that's there for me I have denied I've never had the blues this long this deep, this wide that's why I'm healing with the blues.
Speaker AI love it.
Speaker AAnd very healing.
Speaker ASo I'm gonna jump.
Speaker AThat's good.
Speaker AJumps me right in, dude.
Speaker ABecause music is so incredibly powerful.
Speaker AI had on a couple weeks ago.
Speaker AI don't even know if it's aired yet.
Speaker ARock and Rob Tonkin.
Speaker AWho.
Speaker AI don't know if you've heard of that name, but he was.
Speaker AHe worked with a lot of the big bands and stuff way back when.
Speaker ABut he said that he was just.
Speaker AHis childhood was so rough, and music was his escape.
Speaker AIt was.
Speaker AIt was his.
Speaker AIt was his therapy, basically, is what he said.
Speaker ADo you find that with a lot of the people that you work with?
Speaker BWell, I find it is true for me, and I know it's true for everybody, because music is vibration.
Speaker BAnd that since we're all vibrational beings, we all are made up of vibration, then why wouldn't it be healing?
Speaker BSo one of the things that people do when they've gone through a breakup is they listen to sad songs.
Speaker BWhy are they doing that if they already feel sad?
Speaker BBecause it's matching their vibration of the emotion, and it helps bring it out.
Speaker BSo you might cry at a sad song, but you're releasing those feelings.
Speaker BAnd that's the most important thing you can do for healing, is to release feelings that maybe are negative, but it's okay to have negative feelings.
Speaker BLike, I know that there's this whole school of thought where you cancel your negative thought and you say, cancel, cancel, cancel.
Speaker BBut really it's like, no, I'm acknowledging it.
Speaker BI'm owning it, and I'm honoring it.
Speaker BAnd now it can go, right?
Speaker ANo, I don't believe.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AWe've spent our whole lives being taught not to have a negative thought and to be positive and to put on this.
Speaker BI roll my eyes at that because it's like, why would you do that?
Speaker BWe're human beings.
Speaker BWe're going to have negative thoughts.
Speaker BThe idea is that you use that as a signal to fill up with more joy, more love, more good thoughts.
Speaker BIt's a signal, just like a gas gauge.
Speaker BSo you see the gas gauge go toward E. You don't tell yourself how stupid you are, how dumb you are, what an idiot you are.
Speaker BYou don't say those things.
Speaker BYou just go get more gas.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BNot a judgment.
Speaker BSo when you're thinking about.
Speaker BWhen you're having a negative thought and you're like, geez, you know, I really.
Speaker BI really feel bad about that.
Speaker BI wish I hadn't said that or look, just.
Speaker BNo.
Speaker BOh.
Speaker BThis is a signal to me that I need to fill up with good stuff.
Speaker BBecause I'm kind of going over this again and again.
Speaker BAnd then what I work on with people is these patterns of physiology that the emotions are causing that have been memorized over many years that are.
Speaker BThat are creating the dis.
Speaker BEase in the body.
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker AAnd yeah, music, I mean, like you said, it's vibrational.
Speaker AThere's no way.
Speaker AI was talking to someone the other day and they were just wanted to, like, holler.
Speaker AAnd they were like, I'm so angry.
Speaker AI want to holler.
Speaker AI said, well, I got an idea.
Speaker AHow about hum.
Speaker AJust hum something.
Speaker AAnd they were like, why hum?
Speaker AI said, because it just.
Speaker AIt's.
Speaker AIt literally vibrates all the way down to your soul.
Speaker AAnd it just.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AYou know.
Speaker BPop Staples has a song that he wrote called why Am I Treated so Bad?
Speaker BWhy Am I Treated so Bad?
Speaker BAnd in the song, look it up on YouTube.
Speaker BIt's great.
Speaker BHe talks about his grandmother or his mother humming and going.
Speaker BAnd he's like, why are you doing that?
Speaker BShe said, because then the devil doesn't even know what I'm thinking.
Speaker AOh, wow.
Speaker BSo that's the humming part right there.
Speaker BIt's like, I don't need the words.
Speaker BGod knows the words.
Speaker BLike a little kid who gets lost in the woods.
Speaker BI don't know how to pray, so I'm just going to say the Alphabet.
Speaker BAnd God can put the words together.
Speaker ARight?
Speaker BWe don't need to know.
Speaker ANo, not at all.
Speaker ASo you do a variety of things with your customers or your clients?
Speaker BYeah, clients are the ones that I work with.
Speaker BOnline patients are people who walk through the door.
Speaker AYeah, I was going to say there's probably a distinct.
Speaker ADefinitely a distinction.
Speaker ABut you.
Speaker AWhat is probably the.
Speaker AOne of the biggest challenges that your clients slash, patients are facing today?
Speaker BThey're feeling stuck, and they're stuck in these old patterns that create more stuckness, more fear, more upset because they've been taught or they somehow understood maybe Misunderstood that they are not worthy of having all the good things.
Speaker BThey're not worthy of love, for instance.
Speaker BThey're not worthy of having money, having more than enough, being able to be generous.
Speaker BThey're not worthy.
Speaker BAnd because of that, that repetition of not being worthy, it can really work on us.
Speaker BAnd we have to be able to somehow break that pattern.
Speaker BSo the work that I do is really like a pattern interrupt.
Speaker BSo the body is going, what?
Speaker BYou want me to do what?
Speaker BLook over here, do this breathing.
Speaker BThink of this positive thought.
Speaker BI can't do all that at once.
Speaker BSomebody asked me the other day, this is one of the techniques that I use, Bioenergetic synchronization technique.
Speaker BIt's called BEST for short.
Speaker BThat's the acronym.
Speaker BThey said, I can't really do all those things.
Speaker BI said, well, that's kind of the point, right?
Speaker BWe're interrupting.
Speaker BYou're thinking about this recurring thought.
Speaker BI find that it makes your body have a reaction, which it would be a muscle test with the arm falling.
Speaker BAnd I'm seeing that that reaction is interfering with you being able to hold your arm up.
Speaker BYou said, you're going to hold your arm up.
Speaker BYou can't hold your arm up.
Speaker BSo what's happening?
Speaker BAnd this works with people online too.
Speaker BWe just do it a little differently, right?
Speaker BPeople in the office, I'm saying I'm telling them the same things that I've told someone online.
Speaker BThink of this number.
Speaker BThe.
Speaker BThat's an energetic number.
Speaker BThink of this positive feeling anytime that you've had it, first time that you've had it in your life.
Speaker BSo going back, like skipping a stone through your life going, when did I feel joy?
Speaker BWhen was the first time I can remember feeling joy?
Speaker BAnd people say, well, I can't remember that.
Speaker BI'm like, just go to the time that you can remember.
Speaker BWe're not trying to make you do something impossible here.
Speaker BJust go to a time that you can remember.
Speaker BSee if that's the earliest.
Speaker BMaybe there's something.
Speaker BOh, yeah, there's a time before that, thinking of these positive things while changing your breathing, pointing your eyes in a certain location, because that corresponds to different areas of the brain, right?
Speaker BAnd me holding contacts on their.
Speaker BOn their cerebellum, cerebrum on their head.
Speaker BAnd when I'm using, when I'm doing it online, I'm using a surrogate to do that.
Speaker BBut when we're doing that, their pulsing is like, kind of crazy.
Speaker BAnd we wait for the pulse to become synchronous, therefore bioenergetic Synchronization technique.
Speaker BSo when we're doing that technique, and I'm also using EFT with people and a bunch of other things, theta healing that I call intuitive soul healing method.
Speaker BAnd when we're using those techniques, we're actually getting to the root of what the, what the problem is.
Speaker BSo the problem might be, for instance, somebody being told throughout their childhood, my way or the highway, you're not doing it right.
Speaker BConstantly having to strive for perfection so that they can get the affection and the food and the love that they need in order to grow.
Speaker BSo we go along to get along through our.
Speaker BThroughout our childhood.
Speaker BAnd when we have things happen to us, traumatic events happen to us, it gets memorized and our body just does it automatically.
Speaker BSo when we have those things called triggers, then we, our body starts doing the physiology for the time that's in the past.
Speaker BSo there's four ways that people have disease toxicity.
Speaker BSo that could be anything from, you know, detergent on your clothes to additives in your food, trauma, which could be stepping off a curb wrong or being in a car accident, anything like that.
Speaker BThoughts, you can think any stinking thought you want and keep it going.
Speaker BAnd then timing, which is what we were just talking about.
Speaker BYour body's doing something that it memorized and it does it with a trigger, it starts doing it or.
Speaker BAnd I've cleared those from people who have been in their 60s, 70s, and 80s, that started when they were five years old.
Speaker AYeah, I was going to say even in utero.
Speaker AYeah, I was going to say it doesn't matter when it gets stuck there until you get it out, it's going to stay there unless we interrupt that pattern.
Speaker BThen healing can start because now we know how to do that.
Speaker BSo using all those different techniques, we can get at the root cause and actually go back and heal the past too.
Speaker AAnd how long, just hypothetically, how long of a process is this for someone if they're like, oh, because I know it's stuck.
Speaker ALike, I. I just did an episode not too long ago and the girl, her book, I think, or her whole program is called ST sucks.
Speaker AAnd.
Speaker AAnd it's true.
Speaker ABut like a lot of people.
Speaker AI know, right?
Speaker ABut it's like a lot of people, like, what, what is stuck?
Speaker ALike, what does that look like?
Speaker BIt looks like a lot of different things.
Speaker BIt looks like always getting angry about something and having a really short fuse.
Speaker BThat's one way you can be stuck.
Speaker BAnother way is like having a flat affect, not feeling like doing anything unmotivated, just no ambition whatsoever.
Speaker BNot feeling like you have any good ideas.
Speaker BConstantly shooting your idea, your own ideas down.
Speaker BYou know, being stuck can mean that you're in it.
Speaker BYou keep changing jobs, but you have the same boss every time.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BOr you're keep changing relationships, but it's the same boyfriend every time or girlfriend.
Speaker BIt that.
Speaker BIt's always the thing that you're trying to work against and you actually draw it toward you.
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker AAnd a lot of times people's in.
Speaker BRelationships, they're trying to work out their parental relationships, and they keep replacing their.
Speaker BTheir partner with somebody like their parents so that they can work that relationship out.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker AIt's not a great way, by the way.
Speaker ANo, I was gonna say, but we, you know, there's a.
Speaker ALike I was gonna say, there's so many reasons why we get stuck.
Speaker AStuck with.
Speaker AWe get like, pick those bad relationships, and unfortunately, a lot of it is just conditioning and comfortability.
Speaker AAnd also, like you said, trying to literally finish something that wasn't finished to begin with and finish it on someone different.
Speaker BGet it out of your relationship with the parent who is the abuser or dysfunctional, maybe both are.
Speaker BAnd you keep putting people in their place as your partner so that you can try to heal the relationship.
Speaker BBut actually what works way better is healing yourself, Staying away from a relationship for a while while you're doing that, so you can work it out for yourself and learn the lessons that you need to learn from that.
Speaker BAnd then being able to say, okay, now that's not what I want.
Speaker BThis is what I do want.
Speaker BAnd making a list.
Speaker BI'm serious.
Speaker BI did this.
Speaker BAnd this is how I found my husband.
Speaker BWe've been together over 35 years.
Speaker BI wrote a list of what I really wanted in a relationship because I was settling for something else that wasn't real.
Speaker BIt wasn't what I really wanted.
Speaker BBut I kept thinking, oh, this is what it's supposed to do.
Speaker BSo when I realized it's not supposed to be that much work, it's supposed to be, like, easy and fun.
Speaker BThey call it falling in love because you don't have to do anything.
Speaker BYou just fall.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BAnd so I started making that list.
Speaker BAnd within about a year, he showed up.
Speaker AThere you go.
Speaker BAnd started checking things off right away.
Speaker AYep.
Speaker AAnd.
Speaker AAnd being able to honor that list because a lot of people see the list and even then they try to rationalize, well, he's only got one of these bad things on my bad list.
Speaker AAnd yeah.
Speaker AAnd it's like, don't make a list.
Speaker BOf the bad things you Make a list of what we want.
Speaker BNow I'll tell you.
Speaker BI ask people what they want and silence.
Speaker BBecause they haven't thought about that.
Speaker BThey've only thought about what they don't want.
Speaker BBut that's not the way you put an order in at a restaurant.
Speaker ARight?
Speaker BYou don't say, here's all the things I don't want.
Speaker BWell, they're going to stand there and say, well, what do you want?
Speaker BAnd this is what we're talking about.
Speaker BYou're putting your order in with the universe or source or God, however you want to look at it.
Speaker BAnd when you start concentrating on what you do want in the relationship and then you look at that list and you become that list, you're going to attract that person.
Speaker AYou're going to attract that person.
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker BLike attracts like.
Speaker BIt's not opposites attract.
Speaker ANo, not at all.
Speaker BIf you think people are opposites, there's something that's alike in both of them.
Speaker BBecause opposites attract is not really true.
Speaker BIt might look like it.
Speaker BAnd it also might not be a great relationship either.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker AWell, I know.
Speaker AI think, you know, when I think of opposites attract, I just kind of think of like.
Speaker ALike I always used to joke and say, you know, there's always one crazy one in the relationship because one needs to kind of hold the other, tether the other one down.
Speaker AI was always the crazy one.
Speaker ASo, like, my first husband was just like me.
Speaker AHe was crazy.
Speaker AThat did not work.
Speaker AMy second husband, complete opposite, because he tethered me down.
Speaker AHe was.
Speaker AHe was the.
Speaker AHe was the Ying to my yang.
Speaker AHe was like the.
Speaker AThe calm.
Speaker BBut there's something that's alike of you.
Speaker BThere's something that you.
Speaker BYou both have in common.
Speaker BSo it's.
Speaker BIt's not so much that they're opposites.
Speaker BIt's that you fit each other's.
Speaker BEach other's ins and outs together.
Speaker AYeah, it complements together.
Speaker AYeah, absolutely.
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker ASo when people have these stuck energy blocks, talk a little bit about how you work with people to undo energy blocks and what that kind of looks like.
Speaker AOr what if someone.
Speaker AHow.
Speaker AHow would you know if someone had an energy block?
Speaker BWhen I do an intuitive energy scan, I'm actually connecting with their energy.
Speaker BJust like how we're connected right now.
Speaker BBecause I can do this online.
Speaker BI've done it over the phone.
Speaker BI started doing this 11 years ago in 2014.
Speaker BSo this isn't something that started over the pandemic.
Speaker BI've been doing it for a while.
Speaker BAnd what happens is, as we're connected just like we are now.
Speaker BWe can have this very meaningful, real connection.
Speaker BAnd I can get information just asking source, give me the information I need for Tammy to know about her root chakra.
Speaker BSo when I'm doing that, if it's okay, I'll.
Speaker BI'll scan your root chakra for a minute.
Speaker BSo I just want to connect a little bit deeper.
Speaker BSo I'm going to tap my wrists together, I'm going to tap third eye and ask Source.
Speaker BOkay, show me Tammy's root chakra.
Speaker BSo what I'm getting is the root chakra is red and I'm getting red and I'm getting like a red couch, like a, covered in satin, like a, like a chaise lounge like that.
Speaker BAnd it's covered in like red material.
Speaker BIt's very rich looking.
Speaker BAnd there you are on the couch on this chaise and feeling really comfortable and really grounded and enjoying being there.
Speaker BSo what I would say from that is like that you feel comfortable in your body, that you're okay being physical and being here on earth.
Speaker BBecause there's sometimes when I see that and the person is not comfortable being physical, they would rather be spirit.
Speaker BThey don't like being in their body.
Speaker BBut for you, I see you just like lounging on this red shade and it's just, yeah, you're just really comfortable and you're like, yeah, here I am.
Speaker AWhat you see is what you get.
Speaker BYes, yes.
Speaker BAnd I'm fine with that.
Speaker BI like there's a real feeling of like, yeah, I am grounded and I love being who I am.
Speaker AInteresting.
Speaker BIf we go to a chakra that's blocked, we might see something completely different.
Speaker BSo each chakra has its own characteristics.
Speaker BFirst, chakra is all about being comfortable, being physical, being here on earth, being in your body.
Speaker BAnd it can be a block for something else.
Speaker BBut all the chakras have characteristics of each other and also feed each other.
Speaker BSo when I'm looking at sacral chakra for you, that's where I'm seeing that you had stuffed feelings from your childhood that, you know, they're not affecting you as much anymore.
Speaker BThey're still there, but they're still, they're not.
Speaker BThey just don't have the teeth anymore that they used to have.
Speaker BSo I'm kind of seeing like both past and present and seeing, you know, like, no, this is, this is healthy now.
Speaker BBut in the past there was, there was a lot of turmoil here.
Speaker BAnd you know, it's not so much.
Speaker BI mean, I can get really specific about it with people.
Speaker BI Don't want to do that right now because we're recording this.
Speaker BBut.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BYou know, somebody's going to say, oh, that's so general.
Speaker BOf course she sees that.
Speaker BBut let me just say I'm not going to say everything here.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BIt's a personal thing and it's a way of experiencing yourself as a holistic being to be seen through your chakras.
Speaker BThat's a very convenient structure for us to use.
Speaker BSee the banner right there?
Speaker BThose are all the chakras.
Speaker BAnd, and we can use that structure.
Speaker BBut I can also look at you through five element theory.
Speaker BOkay, let's, let me see what your metal is.
Speaker BLet's see what your wood.
Speaker BWhat's going on with that?
Speaker BSo we can use anything to look at that.
Speaker BI use the chakras because that's easy for me and I've been doing it for a long time.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker AYes.
Speaker BHe knows.
Speaker AVery cool.
Speaker ASo if you see someone that has like a.
Speaker ALike if someone comes to you and they're like, what the hell?
Speaker ADr. Tanya English I don't know what's going on.
Speaker ALike, I have no idea.
Speaker AYou call it stuck, sucks, whatever you want to call it.
Speaker AI'm.
Speaker BYeah, it.
Speaker BThere's a lot of times when I'll see like a story of a person being killed because they know too much.
Speaker BA lot of times when I'm working with somebody who's really intuitive and has been doing healing for a while, I'll see times in the past where they have been killed or tortured because they were the spiritual leader for their tribe.
Speaker BAnd what happens to the spiritual leader when another tribe comes in to take over?
Speaker BWell, they kill the spiritual leader because then people don't know what to do.
Speaker BAnd so they're much more easily led into, you know, slavery or whatever they're going to do with them.
Speaker BSo it's very important for us to understand that when we have attacks happening on our knowledgeable people, people who have knowledge.
Speaker BI'm thinking of universities and churches and places where people are studying and gathering knowledge.
Speaker BWhen we have attacks on that, that's an attack on what we hold dear as human beings.
Speaker BAnd that's our connection with source.
Speaker BWhether you're an atheist or not, you still came from somewhere.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BSo it doesn't really matter what, what your belief is.
Speaker BWhat matters is how you respond to those kinds of attacks.
Speaker BAnd we also look to see if there's attached entities because people have free will and they don't have to go toward the light when they die.
Speaker BThey can stick around and cause problems for people.
Speaker BSo we do prayers for that to help relieve.
Speaker BAnd we're doing the prayer for the attached entity, not for the person they're attached to.
Speaker BI mean, it benefits the person they're attached to, but it's really about them making the decision to move on.
Speaker BYou can't stay here.
Speaker BYou gotta go now.
Speaker BYou need to leave and you're gonna get blessings as you go and your loved ones are waiting for you.
Speaker BSo go now.
Speaker BYeah, the lights are on, it's 2am you can't, you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.
Speaker BBut we say, you know, you do have to go home.
Speaker BYour loved ones are waiting for you.
Speaker BThey're not.
Speaker BThey're going to give you blessings, they're going to give you what you want.
Speaker BYou can't get it here.
Speaker BAnd there are people that when we do that prayer, they feel total relief.
Speaker BSo that's another way that things can be compromised and energy can be blocked.
Speaker BYou know, when we're talking about this and we're saying, well, how long does it, how, like if that's the case, how long does it take to feel better?
Speaker BBut sometimes it's instant because, I mean, think about it like this.
Speaker BIf you've never brushed your teeth your whole life and you brush your teeth for the first time, it's going to feel really good.
Speaker BYou're going to run your tongue over your teeth.
Speaker BYou're going to feel, it feels so good.
Speaker BAre you going to eat again?
Speaker BYeah, you're going to have to brush your teeth again.
Speaker BWhen we're doing this kind of work, are you going to have stress in your life again?
Speaker BYes.
Speaker BAnd there's layers of this, so it's not just the one and done kind of thing.
Speaker BAlthough that happens.
Speaker BAnd there are people who are doing that.
Speaker BI just have found that people really, they, they'd like to be unburdened of this stuff, but they need to do it gradually because it's too much.
Speaker BLike losing 40 pounds in a day would be really hard to do.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BAnd if it happened, you couldn't wear any of your clothes.
Speaker ASo it'd be very inconvenient walking around.
Speaker BIn a sarong, which, wait a minute, that sounds pretty good.
Speaker BBut you have to live in a warm climate though, so you have to, you have to do it gradually.
Speaker BWhat, how long it takes for you is how long it takes for you.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BSo we can't judge that and our thinking and how we think.
Speaker BWell, I should be better by now.
Speaker BWell, why, why should you be better by now.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd I always say that.
Speaker AAnd if you suppress these things for decades, they're still there.
Speaker ALike, time does not heal things that get suppressed, period.
Speaker BNo, this is, this is a good thing to say.
Speaker BTime does not heal all wounds.
Speaker BDo they get scabs on them?
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BAnd then that leaves a scar.
Speaker BSo we're not talking about time healing wounds.
Speaker BThat's forgiveness level one.
Speaker BOh, yeah.
Speaker BI forgave that a long time ago.
Speaker BWell, let's check and make sure.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BSo let's see if you really did forgive that.
Speaker BAnd then when we're working on forgiveness, and I'm doing a masterclass on Sunday in a full day retreat in October on forgiveness, when we're working on forgiveness, we're naming all the things that we want to have, have said.
Speaker BEven though we're told not to talk like that and not to have negative thoughts, we can say all those things and do it while we're tapping with the eft and it diffuses it.
Speaker BAnd we've had people that just let go of years and years of grudges because grudges only hurt the person that is holding them.
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker ANo, I agree 100%.
Speaker ASo I'm going to ask you another question because this is one that you said to ask.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AWhat is your quick fix for relieving pain?
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BSo the first thing that you do is you do four count breathing.
Speaker BSo I'll ask you right now, anybody that's listening, think of the amount of stress you have in your life right now on a scale of 0 to 10.
Speaker BAnd you can put it somewhere or just think of it.
Speaker BWhat's the, what's the, what's the number between 0 and 10?
Speaker B10's the worst it can possibly be.
Speaker B0 is no stress at all.
Speaker BOkay?
Speaker BSo just notice that right now.
Speaker BAnd then we'll do four count breathing.
Speaker BSo you're going to breathe in for four counts, you're going to hold it in for four counts.
Speaker BYou're going to breathe out through your nose for four counts and hold it out for four counts.
Speaker BAnd we're going to do that twice.
Speaker BTwice.
Speaker BSo think of that number that you are right now, stress level.
Speaker BAnd exhale all your air out.
Speaker BAnd now breathe in through your nose.
Speaker COne, two, three, four.
Speaker BHold it in.
Speaker COne, two, three, Four.
Speaker BExhale through your nose.
Speaker COne, two, Three, four.
Speaker BHold it out.
Speaker COne, two, three, three, four.
Speaker BInhale.
Speaker COne, two, three, 4.
Speaker BHold it.
Speaker COne, two, three, FOUR.
Speaker BExhale.
Speaker COne, two, Three, Four.
Speaker BHold it out.
Speaker COne, Two, Three, Four.
Speaker CBreathe normally.
Speaker BNow.
Speaker BStress Levels should have gone down.
Speaker BAnd if it didn't, keep doing that.
Speaker AAnd that works for pain as well.
Speaker ALike physical pain.
Speaker BWorks for physical pain.
Speaker BBecause you're putting your attention on something other than the pain, putting it on your breath.
Speaker BWhen you put your attention on your breath, you're saying yes to life.
Speaker BBecause you can live without food for a while and you can live without water for a while, but four minutes without breathing.
Speaker BSo you want to put attention on your breath and do that.
Speaker BFour count breathing and then let yourself breathe normally.
Speaker BAnd then tap under your collarbone.
Speaker BYou can do two fingers, you can do one hand tap on your collarbone, both sides, and just say, I'm safe.
Speaker BMy body knows how to heal.
Speaker BI'm safe.
Speaker BMy body is healing right now.
Speaker BI know how to heal.
Speaker BI release anything that is unlike love in my body.
Speaker CI'm safe and I'm healing.
Speaker BMy body knows what to do.
Speaker BI just release everything that's unlike love.
Speaker BLet it go.
Speaker BKnow that my body is healing.
Speaker BYou can do that anytime.
Speaker BYou can do that in the grocery store.
Speaker BNobody knows what you're doing.
Speaker AYeah, no, I know.
Speaker AAnd I love that with breathing because people are like, oh, I can't do all this stuff.
Speaker AAnd I'm like, you always have your breath.
Speaker AYou can't.
Speaker AYou can breathe in and nobody knows what you're doing.
Speaker BLike, that's the fastest, quickest way.
Speaker BAnd I'm seeing it in places that I didn't think I'd see.
Speaker BI'm seeing it in movies now.
Speaker BYeah, they'll say, do four square breathing.
Speaker BAnd I counted that kind of fast.
Speaker BI want to tell you it's one count per second.
Speaker BSo you can say 1, 1,000, 2 1,000, 3, 1,000, 4, 1,000.
Speaker AThat's right.
Speaker BAnd once you get used to that rhythm, you can do it.
Speaker BAnd if you can go to five or six, go ahead and do that.
Speaker BThat's really good for you.
Speaker BAnd if you can't get to four, just do what you can.
Speaker BMaybe three is okay.
Speaker BJust allow yourself to sit with that.
Speaker BBecause when you sit with that in or out, your body's building up CO2 and it's going to make you breathe anyway.
Speaker BSo, yeah, it's perfectly normal thing to do.
Speaker BAnd it's a great way for you to really get in touch with your body and your breath.
Speaker AYep.
Speaker AAnd that's why we asked if it was, you know, good for physical pain.
Speaker AI do it.
Speaker AI.
Speaker AWhen I. I have a.
Speaker AHad a bad hip, it's not bothering me anymore.
Speaker ABut I used to do that, lay in Bed after a long night, my hip would just ache and I, I, I could get, I could get it between the box breathing or the just the four count breathing and the pulling in all that white energy, I was like, I got this.
Speaker AI could get me.
Speaker AUsually my husband's like, my husband's like, why did you take Reiki?
Speaker AAnd I'm like, because I needed to be able to get myself from about a 9 pain level after a long day of work to about a two.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BAnd you have to remember that the drugs that people are taking for those things are really just to manipulate your chemistry and they don't really get to the root cause.
Speaker BBut when you're doing the breathing, things will pop into your mind.
Speaker BAnd what I have my patients do and my clients do is make a list of all the things that have pissed you off all your life.
Speaker BThings that happened, situations you can't forgive, things you wish you hadn't done.
Speaker BMake that list, number it.
Speaker BAnd then I'm going to ask source, which number on the list do we need to work with first?
Speaker BAnd I'm going to get a yes on one of those so we can clear that stuff up easily.
Speaker BBecause I want to remind everybody that disease doesn't happen from something outside of you.
Speaker BGenerally it happens because there's something that's not working inside of you.
Speaker BHealing comes from within too.
Speaker BSo when we take responsibility, and that's not a heavy load, that's a light load.
Speaker BBecause when we take responsibility, we're saying, I can do this, I have the power to do this.
Speaker BMost people have power they haven't even used yet.
Speaker AOh, most, Almost everybody, I would reckon to guess.
Speaker BLike we forget.
Speaker BThis is a huge, amazing, powerful thing.
Speaker BAnd it isn't just stuck here inside our head.
Speaker BIt's around us in the field of energy that we are.
Speaker BMy business is called Quantum Healing International because we are quantum physics beings.
Speaker BQuantum physics is the physics of living systems.
Speaker BMedicine uses Newtonian systems like the apple falling from the tree, billiard balls on a pool table.
Speaker BHit this one, it hits this one, it hits this one, it goes in the.
Speaker BThat's not how human beings work.
Speaker BWe're quantum physics beings.
Speaker BSo our thoughts and our spirit and if we ignore those things, that's what gets us into trouble.
Speaker BThere's four legs on the chair of health.
Speaker BThere's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Speaker BNow if you leave one leg off, are you going to have a stable chair?
Speaker ANo.
Speaker AReally?
Speaker BNot really.
Speaker BYou can have a three legged stool, but it's not that stable.
Speaker BYeah, better I would Say, anybody, two.
Speaker ALegs isn't doing your squat.
Speaker BMy chair has like six legs on it.
Speaker AI was going to say, I think my.
Speaker BI would add in a couple of things there.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BSo when we, when we actually address all of those.
Speaker BThose four things, then we can.
Speaker BAnd there's others people can add in there.
Speaker BBut when we address those four basic needs, spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical, then we're going to get holistic health.
Speaker BAnd you can address all of those things yourself.
Speaker BYou really can.
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker BAnd that's why I'm here to help people do that.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BNecessary.
Speaker BYou're not meant to do it by yourself.
Speaker ANo, no.
Speaker AAnd then that's why we do this podcast, because I'm sure somebody's like, okay, I'm gonna try the breathing.
Speaker ABut that's not always, you know, that might.
Speaker AWill work.
Speaker ABut yes, it's.
Speaker AIt's.
Speaker AIt's layers and it's layers and layers and healing.
Speaker AAnd if you got that stuck feeling and you just know that there's a better life out there and you just don't know how to get there, you need.
Speaker AYou need help, you need guidance, you need somebody.
Speaker BYou need somebody who's walked that walk in front of you.
Speaker BThey don't have to be that far ahead.
Speaker BThey can be one step ahead and they can help.
Speaker BAnd there's lots of people probably in your life, and if they're not in your life, you can get them in your life.
Speaker BThat.
Speaker BI mean, one of the reasons why you have the podcast is so people can tune into that and say, oh, there are people that are.
Speaker BThat can help me.
Speaker BThere are people that have done this before.
Speaker BThere are people out there who know how to get from A to B. I tell people, I'm not the healer, I'm the healer gps.
Speaker BI tell you, go forward, go to this place, think about this, do this action that's going to help you get there.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BAnd it really does make a difference because I can heal myself.
Speaker BAnd ultimately we're all healing each other too, and that's a beautiful thing, so why not do that?
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker AThank you so much for coming on.
Speaker AThis is so much fun.
Speaker ABut before you go, I want you to tell people, if they want to work with you, want one of the energy clearings, want to try something?
Speaker AWhat does it look like?
Speaker AWhat does that process look like for you?
Speaker BYou can go to my link tree and there's all different things there.
Speaker BLink tree at Quantum Healing International, and that's there.
Speaker BBut you can do a claim your power chat with me, where we talk about what it is that you want to do and find out if there's a way for us to help.
Speaker BSo those are free.
Speaker BYou can do a spotlight intuitive energy scan where we just spend 30 minutes and I'll scan and see what's really coming up and then we can talk about what your next steps might be.
Speaker BI have lots of different programs people can do.
Speaker BI generally like to start people out with a three month program.
Speaker BBut you can do other things before you get to that.
Speaker BSo.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BThere's a YouTube channel.
Speaker BYou can watch interviews I've done with other healers and blues musicians, talking about why blues is a healer and what happened to me in that situation.
Speaker BBecause in 1994 I had a stillbirth.
Speaker BAnd then I went to the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival, which was right in the town where I was living in Davenport, Iowa.
Speaker BA lot of you might not know this, but one border of Iowa is the Mississippi river and the other western border is the Missouri River.
Speaker BSo we were on the river and I had an amazing healing in that festival with the Blind Boys of Alabama in the 10th stage.
Speaker BAnd then fast forward 20 years, 25 years and my band is in the 10th stage and I'm delivering healing with the blues.
Speaker ASo.
Speaker AWow.
Speaker BOne of the things I want to make sure that you all know is that when you start doing this work, your life is going to change.
Speaker BThings will be different and people might leave your life and other people might come in, but things will absolutely change in your life because you're opening up to all the possibilities of the universe.
Speaker BAnd they're not all bad.
Speaker BThey're.
Speaker BThey're beautiful.
Speaker BAnd you can have full circle moments like that.
Speaker BSo I tell people all the time, you could have it all, just maybe not all at once.
Speaker ARight, Exactly.
Speaker AIt might take a while, might take just a minute, but.
Speaker ANo, but it's worth going out there and looking.
Speaker AIt's go worth absolutely every second you'll find.
Speaker AYep.
Speaker BKnocking the door will be open to you.
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker ASo before you leave, thank you so much.
Speaker AAnd we will put that all the links in the show notes and everything else.
Speaker ABefore you leave, I want one last final words of wisdom.
Speaker AI didn't tell you I was going to ask that.
Speaker AWhat's your final words of wisdom?
Speaker AWhat would that be?
Speaker BYou can absolutely find treasure in tragedy if you hold space for that to happen and you dig deep.
Speaker BAnd that's why it's good to have someone with you that knows what they're doing.
Speaker BBecause when you want to go into that tragedy and pull that treasure out.
Speaker BYou need to have somebody holding that space for you.
Speaker BSo there's always something there for you.
Speaker BThere's always a deep wall of blessings there for you.
Speaker BI know.
Speaker BIt's true.
Speaker BIt happened to me.
Speaker BAnd lots of other people have found amazing experiences in their life because they decided that they weren't going to just play victim in that, that they were going to find what was the good that came out of that.
Speaker BWhen that baby was stillborn, I thought, am I just saying that everything happens to the highest good, or do I really believe that?
Speaker BAnd I decided to believe that.
Speaker BAnd things have turned out very well.
Speaker AAbsolutely well.
Speaker AWell said.
Speaker AI mean, I can't say it any better, but thank you so much for coming on.
Speaker AI so appreciate you.
Speaker BThanks, Tammy.
Speaker BAppreciate it.
Speaker AYou're welcome.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd for everybody else out there listening, you heard it.
Speaker AJust keep going and keep going and know that you're worth it, no matter what that inner, little inner critic voice is saying to you know that you were born inherently and divinely beautiful and perfect, and you deserve it.
Speaker ASo thank you, guys, and I will see you next week.
Speaker ABye.
