[00:00:00] Linda Orsini: Welcome to A Call for Love. Today we’re talking about listening to your intuition. I want to share a very personal story because I believe all of us have the capacity to tap into our intuition.
This morning, I woke up feeling exhausted and a little burnt out. I stepped into the shower — nice, steaming hot water — and looked up at the faucet. In that moment, I felt this deep plea rise from my heart. I didn’t say anything out loud. It was just my soul whispering, I’m exhausted. What am I doing with my life?
[00:01:00] And then it happened. Chills ran down my spine — what I call God bumps, spirit bumps. I actually saw my late brother’s face and heard his voice say, “Stay the course. Stay the course.”
I froze. I knew this was a message. I felt it in my body. I saw it before me. And it gave me the strength, the support, and the courage to keep going — to stay the course, because deep down, I love what I’m doing.
[00:02:00] The bigger message here is that we all have intuition. Spirit — and those who’ve gone before us — speak to us through what are called the clairs. There are seven in total, but today I’ll focus on the four most common.
Clairaudience – Clear Hearing
[00:03:00] My strongest gift is clairaudience. This means “clear hearing.” Words, phrases, whispers drop into your awareness. For years, I thought it was just my inner dialogue. Then I realized it wasn’t just me — it was Spirit, guides, God speaking through me. Now, when I ask from the heart, I hear guidance. And I know it’s true when the God bumps arrive.
Clairvoyance – Clear Seeing
[00:05:00] Another way intuition shows up is clairvoyance — “clear seeing.” This can be a flash of an image, a symbol, or a color in the mind’s eye. I’ve had glimpses like that. They’re subtle, but when they come, I know my intuition is speaking visually.
Clairsentience – Clear Feeling
[00:06:00] Then there’s clairsentience — “clear feeling.” This is when your body is the instrument. You might walk into a room and feel tension, or get a gut instinct, or chills down your arms. For me, that sensation confirms truth.
Claircognizance – Clear Knowing
[00:07:00] And finally, claircognizance — “clear knowing.” This is when truth drops in without logic. As a Libra, I can weigh both sides endlessly. But then, suddenly, there it is — a knowing so strong I don’t second-guess. That’s claircognizance.
[00:08:00] These are four of the ways Spirit speaks: clear hearing, clear seeing, clear feeling, and clear knowing. We all have them. The more we notice, the stronger they become. Intuition is like a muscle — the more you use it, the more it grows.
When we follow intuition, life has flow. Purpose becomes clear. I call it clarity, compassion, and courage. Clarity to know your path. Compassion to care for yourself and others. Courage to stay the course.
[00:09:00] So here’s my love note for you today: pay attention to your intuition. Ask for guidance. Be open. And then — notice. Notice the signs. Notice when life flows, because that’s Spirit. Notice when you’re pushing against a rock, because that’s often ego.
[00:10:00] I once kept a journal of intuitive messages, and there were too many to write down. But the pivotal ones — like my brother’s voice saying “stay the course” — those are etched in my heart forever. When I falter, I return to that message.
[00:11:00] Isn’t it beautiful? It gives me clarity, compassion, and courage to take one step at a time. Remember, it doesn’t have to be big steps. Just one step at a time on this journey.
