Who’s AT Your Table?

Who’s AT Your Table?

Who we choose to have sitting “at our table” works to influence how we feel, how we act and the decision process of choices that we move ourselves through.

Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we’re talking about all things wonderfully geek (HA!); Merlin, King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table as they pertain to our own life and our powerful and influential table of 12.

Like King Arthur, we too have our own “tables” with spots to fill. Those very important seats determine our circle of influence and for this reason should be very carefully & thoughtfully given.

These are the people that are going to lead us in the right direction that we’re destined to travel. They should also be the ones that aren’t afraid to call us out on our bullsh*t and lift us up out of the valley, when we can’t see the light at the top of the mountain.

It’s not just about filling the seats with bodies and for this reason, not everyone we know should or will make the cut. It’s about really knowing the people around us honestly & intimately enough, that we can see their strengths, their genius and their value. We understand and appreciate them, but even more so we love them & we trust them.

So when choosing our 12 - we really only want the perfect fit to sit down. Once determined who the seats belong to and what they’re “bringing to the table”, we extend to them a personal invitation that they get to claim or deny. If they accept, their name “gets engraved” on that seat.

Who are you inviting to your table?
