The Voices We Carry with J.S. Park

The Voices We Carry with J.S. Park

I first discovered my guest online and was so deeply moved by his writing. The honesty, vulnerability and storytelling that he shared really landed in my heart and I got wicked curious about who he was and how he was inspiring the world.

So I put on my little detective hat and dug further into the online life of Joon Park. It was this dive that brought me to his website; home to his very short, succinct and fascinating bio and that drew me in even further. I just knew that I had to have him on my show.

Fast forward to today on The Karen Kenney Show... and it’s such a happy honor to share this conversation with chaplain and author, J.S. Park.

We talk not only about his current life and role in working with grief-stricken people on a daily basis in one of the top ranked hospitals in the US, but we also look closer at the pain he himself experienced growing up as a Korean kid born to immigrant parents in the US.

We take a look at how his experiences as a child, a former atheist and a martial artist shaped him to be the person he is and the path he walks today.

Our conversation covered so many powerful topics that I believe will hit you right in the heart. For this reason, I don’t want to give too much away. I believe it would be better suited and way more fun, to have you experience the wonderful Joon for yourself.

If this has piqued your curiosity, (and I super hope it has) and you want to know more about Joon like I did, then buckle up and join me for this fantastic, deeply heartfelt, inspiring conversation with J. S Park.
