No future is true

No future is true

The best way to change the future is before it happens. Learn how

I bet you've heard the words; "I saw that coming from a mile away."

You see, we already know. More than we consider, but we tend to discount our knowing.

So, let's ask the question of truth. Are you living the life you dreamed of? Because truthfully, not many do. So, what is the difference?

Moving a dream into reality and creating the future we desire; takes more than persistence.

I'd like you to imagine for a minute, an un-inflated ball.

Congratulations, you have a ball! https://www.lifecoachadele.com

That's great if you want the ball. yes, first we must want the ball. Know why we want the ball. What are you going to use the ball for? Why do you want the ball?

There is a catch too. The ball isn't inflated yet! So, we learn how to inflate it and now we feel the ball. The density, weight, texture. But it took energy, know how and the desire to complete the task. We had to want to do it.

So, imagine inflating the ball, to be like creating a clearer vision of what we want. Aligning to a possibility.

Ok, you got a ball. The ball is now inflated, but what is it useful for?

Now, imagine how you would roll it around in your hands and get the feel, size, weight, sound, texture, grip. Bounce it a few times. Does the rebounding into your palm bring excitement? If it does, it's a good thing.

Because we need excitement, anticipation to create change in our lives.

Maybe we feel ourselves get into the rhythm. Really feel it. The weight of the ball connecting. Energy, like a piston moving upward and down.

Feeling in control, a picture begins to develop inside the mind. What the future might look like. The vision becomes intentional as you practice. Intentionally you move forward, bouncing this ball.

Maybe you look around to see if there is anyone else who thinks this ball is cool? People call from the sidelines, stop for a cigarette? This old habit is strong, causing lost focus.

The ball ricochets off a stone. Out of reach, instantly you feel as deflated as the ball once was. Over and over you try and yet, progress seems slow and you doubt you have the stuff that greatness is made of. Again, you look around. Thinking that maybe, it was just a dream.

Then you see someone walking towards you with the ball.

Do they hand the ball to you and smile? Gesture for you to toss it back and forth? Show you a new trick? Or do they tell you that you're not very good at this, and should do something else?

Maybe this is where the dream and this possible future dies?

I don't have to tell you because you already know that, dreams are broken when negative emotions and beliefs enter our mind. Creating grease and slime that makes it harder for the ball to stay in your grasp.

The future we desire depends upon us being clear. No matter what anyone says, how important is your dream? Why do you want this future? Who are you doing this for? What is your "why"?

Creating a future, we desire takes being clear of our mission, values and, being free from negative emotions and beliefs. As we rise above these old ways, our vibration tunes into a new way of being. Like climbing a mountain, rising above the clouds, we become further from judgment, anger and self-limiting beliefs, and closer to love, and inclusiveness.

So, this is the time we choose. Pick up the ball and begin to run, inspiring others to join in the game. Build a team of like-minded people, that share your vision of the future.

Knowing that even if futures are false, every choice plays an important role. Predicts an outcome.

Choice is simply a possibility and we have many of those, we only need to dream to understand. It is when a choice is set in motion that possible outcomes begin to define.

When I think about creating my future, I like to think of a rocket ship moving towards the moon. I one heard it said that a rocket is off course 90% of the time, yet with micro-corrections, it arrives at its destination as planned.

Every micro-correction adjusts to one possible future. But also removes or changes the viability of other possibilities. Yes, each choice, then opens new possible options while moving away from previous ones.

Think of standing in the center of a beautiful mandala. Face towards the sun, placing palms, like blinders, on either side of your face. Consider that what you see if your future.

Now chose to turn ninety degrees, what do you see now? A different future? Possibly. Imagine now move to the outside of the mandala and again face towards the sun. Repeat the same experiment, because now more choices are included in your sun exposed view of the future.

Realize that perspective matters, but so does movement. That if the focus remains constant, the future could be predictable, from that perspective.

Realizing the choices, we make in a moment in time; are based on our current perspective. what we believe to be true at the time the choice is made. Beliefs matter

Consider that micro-corrections towards our focus may open our perspective towards new possibilities. But your beliefs may limit or expand your future.

So, this takes us back to the number one. You! when we work on ourselves, we expand all possibilities. And as we change, what we want and why we want it changes. What we thought we couldn't live without yesterday, changes.

So, how can we choose or change our future if we don't know ourselves. I encourage you to acknowledge who you are, so you can truly step into your power?

I suggest that each of us look at the choices in front of us today. Because our future is being created now. Our future happens all day long, every single moment of choice that is creating our desired future.

And the same choice, for each of us results in a different outcome. For example: A person that starts a non-profit that is focused on cleaning up our oceans. That is their desired outcome, and this is their "why". A desire to create a healthier planet through cleaning our oceans. Their future is defined by their focus.

Another, also desires to clean up our ocean, create a healthier planet by cleaning up the ocean. But their vision is to join a non-profit that shares their vision and actually pick up garbage.

Their focus is the same the outcome is different. One a leader of a non-profit, the other a leader in action. Both created the future they desired.

Abraham Lincoln once said, the best way to predict the future is to create it.

Here's a checklist for you:

1. Create your vision and know why it is important to achieve.

2. Create a plan that is specific, measurable, achievable, reasonable, and is given a time to complete

3. Talk about it, gather a team, post progress.

4. Create accountability partners, a coach, a team-members, mastermind groups.

5. Add motivation through celebrating the wins, no matter how small

6. Focus and repeat

7. Action, get going, eliminate excuses. Identify the most important task needed today.

Know that obstacles are likely. If things are getting in your way, evaluate what's stopping you. Identify if it is a pattern of behavior. Is there work to be done.

And if it still troubling you, follow Mark Twain's advise. Problems can be like frogs. If you must eat a frog, eat the big one first.
Stay well out there. xoxo Adele
