What To Do If You Feel Lost And Don’t Recognize Yourself Anymore | DSS06

Have you given so much of yourself that you feel lost? Here are some tips that I used and continue to use when I start to feel like I’m not recognizing myself.

1.     Connect with other women, find your people and you will see how much your life changes. Having a close circle of women doing life and sharing openly about it is beyond powerful and helps you plug back into your self!

2.     Take time for you read a book, start knitting, go to a class, whatever you can do to mellow out uninterrupted do it. I prefer reading because I can escape and it inspires me.

3.     Travel, and travel alone! There is no better cure for someone who has lost themselves.

4.     Volunteer to a cause that means something to you!

5.     When you feel like you’re alone, when you feel like you are living groundhog’s day over and over it’s time to fight for yourself and get back in touch to the woman you were before the husband, before the kids, before the job and the grind... You owe it to yourself not to let her slip away!
